VanVleet scored 35 points (13-20 FG, 6-9 3Pt, 3-4 FT) while adding eight rebounds, three assists and two steals across 33 minutes in Monday's 126-114 loss against the Celtics.
EDGE Analysis
VanVleet has settled in as Toronto's biggest threat on offense on a nightly basis, and his numbers seem to back that up -- he has reached the 25-point plateau in four of his six contests to date, and the only reason why his scoring numbers aren't higher is that he started the 2020-21 season with two single-digit scoring efforts over his first three games. Either way, VanVleet is averaging 21.8 points per game through his first six appearances.

VanVleet generated 27 points (9-23 FG, 4-13 3Pt, 5-5 FT), eight rebounds, five assists, a steal and a blocked shot across 40 minutes in Saturday's 120-116 loss to the Pelicans.
EDGE Analysis
The standout guard has been hot and cold to begin the season, but he managed to put together two productive games in a row. Saturday's performance is what we're used to seeing with VanVleet after a summer session where he put up superlative numbers every time he took the floor. The abbreviated preseason had an adverse effect on many pure shooters. Once VanVleet settles in, he should meet and possibly exceed the production he had in the Orlando bubble.

VanVleet notched 25 points (9-19 FG, 4-9 3Pt, 3-3 FT), five rebounds, seven assists, a steal and a block across 36 minutes in Thursday's win over the Knicks.
EDGE Analysis
VanVleet has been very inconsistent when it comes to his role as a scoring threat in the early days of the season and while he had an increased responsibility on the offensive side of the court due to Pascal Siakam (not injury related) being out Thursday, he responded and topped the 20-point mark for the second time in four games. VanVleet is averaging 17.3 points, 6.3 assists and 4.3 rebounds per game in four starts so far in 2020-21.

VanVleet scored 27 points (10-20 FG, 5-12 3Pt, 2-3 FT), three rebounds, nine assists and a steal across 35 minutes in Saturday's loss against the Spurs.
EDGE Analysis
VanVleet ended just one assist shy of what would've been his first double-double of the season, and this was a marked improvement following what he did in the first game of the campaign, where he finished with just nine points while shooting 3-for-12 from the field. VanVleet might not lead the Raptors offensively on a nightly basis, but he should be a reliable source for production on both ends of the court moving forward.

VanVleet scored nine points (3-12 FG, 2-8 3PT, 1-2 FT) to go along with three rebounds, three assists and three steals across 30 minutes in Wednesday's loss to the Pelicans.
EDGE Analysis
VanVleet struggled to find his shot in the first game of the regular season, though he still finished third on the team in field-goal attempts. While things weren't working on the offensive end of the floor, VanVleet remained strong defensively by racking up a trio of steals. He'll look to get his shooting stroke back on Saturday against the Spurs.

VanVleet scored seven points (3-11 FG, 0-7 3PT, 1-1 FT) to go with three rebounds and seven assists in 24 minutes during Friday's 117-105 preseason loss to Miami.
EDGE Analysis
VanVleet had a tough night shooting the rock, as he posted an abysmal 27% from the floor and missed all seven of his three-point attempts. The guard also ceded usage to the returning Kyle Lowry, but VanVleet did provide a team-high seven assists in the contest.

VanVleet scored 23 points (9-12 FG, 5-7 3PT) and had four assists while playing 22 minutes during Monday's 112-109 preseason win over Charlotte.
EDGE Analysis
VanVleet continued to shine in the absence of Kyle Lowry on Monday, posting a game-high 23 points, including an excellent 71 percent accuracy rate from behind the arc. Coming off an excellent season a year ago, VanVleet's role should be there even when Lowry returns, making the former a strong pick heading into the new campaign.

VanVleet scored nine points (3-9 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT) while adding five assists, five steals and a rebound in 17 minutes during Saturday's 111-100 preseason win over the Hornets.
EDGE Analysis
Kyle Lowry is away from the Raptors for the beginning of the preseason schedule, so VanVleet got the start at point guard and flashed the defensive chops that allowed him to record a career-best 1.9 steals a game last year. With a new four-year, $85 million contract in his pocket, look for the 26-year-old to be one of the key players in the Toronto lineup once again in 2020-21.

VanVleet and the Raptors have come to terms on a four-year, $85 million deal, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
There were some rumors about other suitors for VanVleet, but the general expectation was that he and the Raptors would come to some sort of an agreement. He was an essential piece during the team's championship run in 2019 and made an even bigger leap last season. He averaged career highs across the board in 2019-20 to the tune of 17.6 points, 3.8 rebounds, 6.6 assists, 1.9 steals and 2.7 triples on 39.0 percent shooting from beyond the arc across 35.7 minutes per game.

VanVleet scored 20 points (8-20 FG, 4-9 3Pt, 0-0 FT) and added six assists, three rebounds and two blocks in 45 minutes of Friday's 92-87 Game 7 loss to Boston.
EDGE Analysis
VanVleet was the only Raptor to score 20 points. He tallied at least 17 in each game of the series and averaged 18.7 points per contest to go with 6.4 assists and 4.6 rebounds.
