Replacing a player like Jamal Murray is a daunting proposition, even for a seasoned veteran, but Campazzo is slowly getting the hang of things as Denver's floor general. Although it's unlikely that we'll see explosive scoring from the rookie, he'll occasionally show up with enough ancillary production to be relevant. He grabbed a season-high five steals in the loss and provided apt ball distribution with eight assists.

Campazzo has started each of Denver's last six games and his numbers have been impressive -- the former Real Madrid standout has dished out at least seven dimes in three straight contests while scoring in double digits twice in that six-game stretch. This was Campazzo's first double-double in his NBA career, and all signs point toward him being Denver's starting point guard until the season comes to an end -- that should translate into a substantial uptick in his numbers.

Campazzo couldn't match his 13 assist effort Saturday, but still managed seven dimes compared to only one turnover. He also produced well on the defensive end of the floor, notching the fourth multi-steal effort in his last eight games. That peripheral production balances out Campazzo's lack of scoring, as he is averaging only 6.9 points in that same eight-game span.

Campazzo contributed five points (1-5 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 3-3 FT), 13 assists, three steals and two rebounds in 34 minutes Saturday in the Nuggets' 129-116 win over the Rockets.

Campazzo has now started at point guard in each of the Nuggets' last four games, but he's shot 20 percent or worse from the floor in three of those contests. The rookie's inaccurate shooting and low usage should continue to limit his upside as a scorer while he remains in the starting five, but as he demonstrated Saturday, he can have some value in the assists and steals categories. Jamal Murray (knee) is out for the season, and Monte Morris (hamstring) and Will Barton (hamstring) are without clear timelines to return, so Campazzo should have a fairly clear path to a 30-plus-minute role for the time being.

Campazzo tallied 12 points (4-6 FG, 4-5 3Pt), five rebounds, three assists and one block across 27 minutes Wednesday in the Nuggets' 106-105 win over the Trail Blazers.

After Monte Morris (hamstring) joined Jamal Murray (knee) on the injured list prior to Monday's game against the Grizzlies, Campazzo moved into the starting five and proceeded to turn in a dud, concluding the double-overtime win with only three points (on 1-for-8 shooting), three rebounds, two assists, two steals and one three-pointer in 35 minutes. His playing time tailed off Wednesday with the game finishing in regulation, but Campazzo was far more efficient with his opportunities. Campazzo's minutes could hold steady in the 25-to-30 range until Morris is ready to return, but his overall upside will remain fairly muted due to the presence of Nikola Jokic, who will do far more of the facilitating and scoring than the team's point guards.

EDGE Analysis

With Monte Morris set to miss an indefinite amount of time with a hamstring injury, Campazzo is set for an increased workload. Over the last five games, Campazzo has averaged 8.8 points, 2.2 rebounds, 3.6 assists, 2.0 triples and 1.2 steals per game.

Campazzo finished Friday's blowout win over Houston with seven points (2-5 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 1-2 FT), three assists and two rebounds in 26 minutes.

EDGE Analysis

The game was essentially decided by halftime, so it wasn't an ideal look at the Nuggets' rotation. Still, for fantasy managers in deep leagues, it's a good sign that Campazzo saw more minutes than starter Monte Morris (19). Going forward, Campazzo should pick up some value without Jamal Murray (knee). However, he remains a relatively low-end option who will likely struggle to produce fantasy-relevant numbers consistently.

Campazzo tallied six points (2-3 FG, 2-2 3Pt), four steals, three rebounds and two assists in 21 minutes during Monday's 116-107 loss to the Warriors.

EDGE Analysis

Campazzo moved back to the bench with Jamal Murray (right knee) returning to the lineup. However, the demotion could be short-lived after Murray suffered a potentially serious injury to his left knee in the closing seconds of the game. If Murray is sidelined for an extended period, Campazzo could find himself back with the starting unit. He likely won't be a one-for-one replacement for Murray in terms of minutes, however, as Monte Morris is also likely to factor into the mix for playing time at point guard.
