He is currently the 39th-ranked player in standard formats, averaging 16.0 points, 10.5 rebounds, 2.9 assists, 0.8 steals and 1.7 blocks. While there is room for improvement, this should probably be considered his floor moving forward.

Mobley ended Thursday's 103-95 loss to the Trail Blazers with 20 points (9-14 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 2-2 FT), eight rebounds, three assists and two steals in 34 minutes.

EDGE Analysis

It was the third-year big's best scoring effort since he dropped 21 on Portland in their last meeting Nov. 15, but it was also just the second time in his last 10 games that Mobley has failed to pull down double-digit boards. The 22-year-old is averaging 16.9 points, 11.3 rebounds, 3.1 assists, 1.6 blocks and 0.9 steals over that stretch while shooting 62.9 percent from the floor, and while his offensive role hasn't grown since his rookie season, Mobley's gradually improving his efficiency and defensive contributions.

Mobley was nearly perfect from the field and grabbed a season-high rebound mark en route to his eighth double-double over his last nine contests. The third-year pro has been massive on both ends of the court for Cleveland this season, and he has finally taken a leap forward following two promising campaigns to begin his career. Mobley is averaging 16.5 points, 10.6 rebounds and 1.8 blocks per game in November.

Mobley provided 18 points (8-12 FG, 2-3 FT), six rebounds, six assists, one block and four steals across 36 minutes during Saturday's 121-115 loss to the Lakers.

Mobley couldn't continue his streak of six straight double-doubles, but he still had a strong performance on both ends of the court. In fact, his six assists and four steals were both season-high marks, more than compensating for the fact that his six boards were his fewest in two weeks. Mobley has shown improvement in most areas of his game during his third NBA season, as his current per-game averages of 16.6 points, 10.2 boards, 3.3 dimes and 0.9 steals are all on pace for career-best marks. Mobley has added 1.6 blocks per contest and is shooting a career-best 57.0 percent from the field and 75.9 percent from the charity stripe.

Mobley ended Friday's 108-100 win over the Pistons with 18 points (8-12 FG, 2-4 FT), 10 rebounds, five assists and one steal over 35 minutes.

EDGE Analysis

The third-year big produced his third straight double-double and his seventh in 12 games to begin the season, and Mobley has scored 10 points or more in all but one contest. Friday was also the first time in 2023-24 he failed to record a block, and while he doesn't appear to be headed for a breakout campaign, the third overall pick in the 2021 NBA Draft is on pace to set new career highs in points (16.7 per game), boards (10.4), assists (3.1) and blocks (1.8).

Mobley amassed 21 points (8-11 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 5-8 FT), 12 rebounds, three assists, three blocks and one steal across 35 minutes during Wednesday's 109-95 victory over the Trail Blazers.

Mobley recorded his sixth double-double of the season, and had no problem with Deandre Ayton in the interior. It took a moment for the Cavaliers to adjust to the insertion of Duop Reath, but thanks to Mobley, Cleveland won the game inside.

Mobley logged 16 points (8-14 FG), 12 rebounds, two assists and one steal in 30 minutes during Monday's 132-120 loss to the Kings.

Mobley put in solid work during the loss. Although Mobley's scoring output can vary a bit, his lofty rebound totals can offset a rough shooting night. His shooting has improved nicely over the past few games, sporting an excellent field goal percentage of 57.5 percent over the past three games.

Mobley has now recorded at least one block in all eight of his appearances this season. The third-year big man has shown that he can thrive alongside Jarrett Allen, as Mobley is averaging 16.3 points, 10.3 rebounds, 2.7 assists, 2.0 blocks and 1.3 steals in 32.7 minutes across the three games since Allen returned to the lineup.
