Paschall has mostly played off the bench during the last few months and has been productive in a reserve role, but he seems to have taken a leap forward of late after topping the 20-point mark in three of his last four outings. Expect the rookie out of Villanova to remain as a vital scoring threat for the Warriors regardless of his role moving forward.

Paschall remains productive despite the fact that he hasn't started on a regular basis since mid-December. He's now scored in double figures in seven consecutive games. The rookie out of Villanova has averaged 16.3 points per game while shooting 57.9 percent from the field during that stretch.

The Warriors were down to just eight active players Saturday, thrusting Paschall into an elevated role off the bench. He finished second only to Andrew Wiggins in shot attempts, with Paschall's efficient shooting from the field aiding him to a second straight 20-point performance. With as many as five players at risk of missing Sunday's game against the Wizards, Paschall could be in store for another high-usage outing in the second half of the back-to-back set.

Paschall registered 23 points (7-14 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 8-9 FT), three rebounds and two assists in 27 minutes off the bench during Thursday's 116-86 loss to the Lakers.

Paschall has been shifting between the starting lineup and the bench of late, but he continues to produce and topped the 20-point mark for the first time since Jan. 23 -- this allowed him to extend his streak of double-digit performances to five games. The rookie out of Villanova is averaging 14.4 points and 4.6 rebounds while shooting an impressive 58.7 percent from the field during that five-game stretch.

Paschall contributed 12 points (5-8 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), three rebounds, two assists and one steal in 36 minutes during Tuesday's 112-94 loss against the Kings.

EDGE Analysis

Paschall has started in four of Golden State's nine games, but, considering how the rotation has looked of late, it seems the rookie out of Villanova only will see consistent minutes if there's an injury; otherwise, he's back to coming off the bench. He has been productive regardless of the role, though -- Paschall has averaged 12.1 points and 4.7 boards per game in nine February outings.

Paschall ended with 23 points (10-13 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 2-3 FT), three rebounds, two assists and one steal in 20 minutes during Friday's Team USA victory over Team World in the Rising Stars Challenge.

EDGE Analysis

Paschall was certainly in an offensive frame of mind, scoring a team-high 23 points on 77 percent shooting. The game was played with very little effort on the defensive end, allowing Paschall to get to the rim with ease. He has been a nice surprise for the Warriors this season, averaging 13.2 points per game. He is currently outside the top-200 for the season but with the Warriors going nowhere fast, Paschall should continue to get plenty of opportunities to put up numbers on a nightly basis.

EDGE Analysis

Paschall finished with 12 points in the loss but added very little outside of the scoring. His playing time has been up and down all season, primarily because of injuries to other players. He does not have a particularly fantasy-friendly game and is typically going to offer minimal upside in scoring only. He is not a must-roster player in 12-team leagues and is unlikely to change that opinion moving forward.

Paschall is in the starting lineup Saturday against the Timberwolves, Anthony Slater of The Athletic reports.

Paschall was originally set to come off the bench Saturday, but Draymond Green was a late scratch with back tightness. Paschall put up 15 points, five rebounds, two assists, one steal and one block Wednesday, which was his first start since Jan. 20.
