Bledsoe will open the season as the Suns' starting point guard, Paul Coro of the Arizona Republic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Coach Earl Watson revealed to the media that he'll go with a starting lineup of Bledsoe, Devin Booker, T.J. Warren, Jared Dudley and Tyson Chandler for Monday's preseason opener, and that's the lineup with which he intends to begin the regular season. It's certainly no surprise to see Bledsoe penciled in at point guard, but the fact that Brandon Knight will come off the bench is rather surprising considering he started 50 of his 52 games in 2015-16. Bledsoe's grasp on the starting job appears to be a strong one, though Knight's ability to play both off and on the ball could cut into Bledsoe's overall workload.

Bledsoe said Wednesday that he's shed about 10 pounds this summer and now checks in at 189 pounds, Paul Coro of the Arizona Republic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Conditioning has never really been an issue for Bledsoe, but the weight loss should make the speedy point guard even more sleek when he penetrates the lane. That being said, less bulk could also make Bledsoe more vulnerable at the rim, which may be more of a concern for a player who has been quite susceptible to injuries over the course of his career. At least for now though, Bledsoe is feeling 100 percent after being limited to just 31 games last season following December surgery to repair a torn left meniscus. Bledsoe has top-10 fantasy upside among point guards, but his history of health issues makes him a more risky selection than many of his contemporaries at the position.

Bledsoe (knee) is set to resume playing in five-on-five pickup games during workouts Tuesday, Paul Coro of The Arizona Republic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Bledsoe, whose 2015-16 season ended in late December following surgery to repair a torn left meniscus, has been in Phoenix working out for more than two weeks and looks like he'll be at full strength for the start of training camp. He's already begun playing in two-on-two games and said that his knee has checked out fine, so five-on-five work could represent the final hurdle he'll need to clear in his recovery. Prior to going down with the injury last season, Bledsoe was on track for a career-best campaign, holding down averages of 20.4 points, 6.1 assists, 4.0 rebounds, 2.0 steals and 1.5 three-pointers in 34.2 minutes per game. While health issues have dogged him throughout his six seasons in the league, Bledsoe has the upside of a top-20 fantasy asset if he's able to avoid any significant setbacks in 2016-17.

Bledsoe (knee) has begun participating in basketball activities and plans to be back to 100 percent health for the start of training camp in the fall, NBA.com's Tyler Emerick reports.
EDGE Analysis
Bledsoe's 2015-16 season came to an end after he suffered a torn left meniscus on Dec. 26 that required surgery, but he received rehab a few months afterward and has continued to make incremental progress in his recovery in the months that followed. The point guard has already gone through this rigorous process before, as he previously tore his right meniscus in 2011 and would later have it removed in 2014. The knee problems make Bledsoe more of a health risk than most other point guards, but if he endures no further setbacks throughout the summer, he should reemerge as one of the league's more athletic players at his position entering the coming season. He was on his way to career-best numbers before getting shut down last season, as he posted averages of 20.4 points, 6.1 assists and 2.0 steals in 31 games.

Bledsoe (knee) is now doing on-court activity as part of his rehabilitation process, Paul Coro of the Arizona Republic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Bledsoe, who underwent season-ending surgery to repair a torn left meniscus in late December, seems to be progressing as anticipated to this point. He'll steadily increase his rehabilitation activities during the offseason with the hope of getting back to full strength by the time training camp commences.

Bledsoe (knee) underwent surgery to repair a torn meniscus Tuesday, and he'll miss the remainder of the season, John Schuhmann of NBA.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Initially, the Suns had hoped Bledsoe could return around the All-Star break, but team doctors opted to repair, rather than remove, his torn meniscus, which entails a lengthier recovery period. As such, Bledsoe will miss the remainder of the year, cutting his season short after just 31 games. The Kentucky product was off to the best start of his career, holding averages of 20.4 points, 6.1 assists and 4.0 rebounds while shooting 45.3 percent from the field and 37.2 percent from three, up from 32.4 last season. In Bledsoe's extended absence, Brandon Knight will take over as the lead guard, with both Devin Booker and T.J. Warren in line to step into larger roles. Booker started in Bledsoe's place Monday night against Cleveland, while Warren came off the bench to score 23 points in 27 minutes.

Bledsoe (knee) is expected to miss six weeks following surgery for a torn meniscus, Paul Coro of azcentral.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Bledsoe's return timetable is now definitive, and he is looking to return to action sometime in mid-February. Devin Booker will likely get the first opportunity to start in Bledsoe's absence. Ronnie Price, Sonny Weems, and Archie Goodwin, could all see extra time in the Suns backcourt rotation while Bledsoe recovers.

Bledsoe (knee) was diagnosed with a torn meniscus and will undergo surgery Tuesday, The Arizona Republic reports.
EDGE Analysis
The report doesn't specify whether Bledsoe's meniscus will be repaired or removed. The first path would be preferable for his long-term outlook, but with the caveat of a longer recovery timetable. Bledsoe actually had both procedures on his other knee, first getting his right meniscus repaired shortly before the 2011-12 season, and then having it removed during the 2013-14 campaign. The first procedure led to a four-month absence, compared to a two-month absence for the removal. With the injury erasing any slim hopes of playoff contention, the Suns will likely place more weight on the long-term implications, though it's still possible that removal will be the best option. Head coach Jeff Hornacek said Devin Booker will likely join the starting lineup alongside Brandon Knight, who figures to see a bump in usage rate and possibly also playing time. Ronnie Price, Sonnie Weems and Archie Goodwin could also help fill the void for what will likely be a very bad team over the next few months.

Bledsoe (knee) could be sidelined until after the All-Star break, Brian Windhorst of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Suns still haven't announced the results of the MRI that Bledsoe underwent Sunday morning, but those familiar with the point guard's condition seem to believe that a multi-week absence could be on tap. The long-term loss of Bledsoe would likely doom the Suns' chances of capturing the eighth seed in the Western Conference, as the 25-year-old is in the midst of a career-best campaign, averaging 20.4 points, 6.1 assists, four rebounds, and two steals across 34.2 minutes per contest. Expect the Suns to make an announcement soon regarding the extent of Bledsoe's injury along with a possible return timetable.

Bledsoe (knee) is expected to miss an extended period of time after suffering a left knee injury during Saturday's game against the 76ers, Paul Coro of the Arizona Republic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Bledsoe sprained his knee on Saturday and the injury looks to be a bit worse than originally believed. While an exact timetable has yet to be established for a return, Bledsoe is undergoing an MRI and as soon as the results are posted, we should have a clearer view on how long this injury could keep him out. Until he's back to full health, Ronnie Price and Archie Goodwin could see extended time at the point. The Suns could also move Brandon Knight to point guard and move Devin Booker into the starting lineup at the two, so we'll have to wait and see what coach Jeff Hornacek decides to do moving forward.
