Augustin (calf) is considered questionable to play in Wednesday's game against the Celtics, Eric Nehm of The Athletic reports.

The veteran is dealing with a strained calf, which kept him out of the preseason finale Friday. He was able to go through parts of practice Tuesday, and he'll join the team in Boston, but Augustin's status for Opening Night likely won't be determined until after shootaround Wednesday morning.

Augustin and the Bucks have come to terms on a three-year, $21 million deal, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.

Augustin should help provide depth in the backcourt right way for the Bucks. He figures to essentially fill the role George Hill played with Milwaukee last season. The 33-year-old has been a journeyman throughout his career. He averaged 10.1 points, 4.1 assists and 1.4 triples across 24.0 minutes during his last four seasons with the Magic. He also shot 38.8 percent from beyond the arc during that time.

Augustin recorded 24 points (8-13 FG, 4-8 3Pt, 4-4 FT), six assists and three rebounds across 26 minutes during Saturday's Game 3 121-107 loss to the Bucks.

EDGE Analysis

Augustin led the team in scoring, but his impressive effort wasn't enough to drive the team to victory. It was only the third time this season the veteran has racked up at least 20 points and five assists.

Augustin finished with 10 points (0-5 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 10-10 FT) two boards, and five assists in 28 minutes of a 111-96 loss to Milwaukee on Thursday.

EDGE Analysis

Augustin had a miserable shooting night but managed to make double-digit scoring thanks to his stellar night from the charity stripe. He's shooting just 13.7 percent from the field in the playoffs but has still averaged 10.5 points per game. Orlando will take the floor in game three Saturday.

Augustin had 11 points (3-11 FG, 1-4 3PT, 4-4 FT) and 11 assists off the bench in Tuesday's Game 1 win over Milwaukee.

Augustin came off the bench in the regular-season finale for the Magic but turned out his best scoring output since play resumed -- in fact, it was only Augustin's fifth game where he managed to score 20-plus points this season. The veteran point guard ends the 2019-20 regular season averaging 10.5 points, 4.6 assists and 2.1 rebounds in 24.9 minutes per game across 57 appearances, but it remains to be seen if either him or Markelle Fultz will start in the upcoming playoff series against the Milwaukee Bucks.

Augustin accumulated 21 points (6-7 FG, 2-2 3Pt, 7-7 FT), five assists and two rebounds in 20 minutes during Saturday's 119-112 loss to the Lakers.

EDGE Analysis

Augustin was the lone starter who had it going offensively in this one, and he finished with more points than minutes while missing only one field-goal attempt. Markelle Fultz (undisclosed) participated in portions of the team's five-on-five practice on Friday, though it's unclear when he will return to the lineup. For as long as Fultz remains sidelined, Augustin will likely continue to be relied upon a bit more heavily than normal.

Augustin racked up 24 points (7-10 FG, 4-6 3Pt, 6-6 FT) off the bench in Sunday's win over Houston, adding two rebounds, three assists and a steal.

EDGE Analysis

Augustin was one of three Magic players to score at least 16 points off the bench on a night when the team combined to shoot 48.4 percent from the field and 44.8 percent from three (13-for-29). He's warmed up significantly over the last couple games, as he put up 18 points Friday; over his prior seven contests since returning from a knee injury, he'd averaged just 5.1 points per game.

Augustin had 18 points (4-7 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 9-11 FT), five assists and three rebounds in 27 minutes during Friday's 132-118 victory over Minnesota.

EDGE Analysis

Augustin had his best game since returning from injury and it comes as no surprise, given the absence of Evan Fournier (elbow). With Fournier likely to miss multiple games, Augustin could see his role increase to a point where he can be considered in 12-team leagues. He doesn't offer a lot of upside, although if you need a cheap source of points and assists, you could certainly do a lot worse.
