Dotson wasn't particularly sharp from the field and recorded 50 percent of his points from the charity stripe, but he still posted a solid overall performance while excelling as a passer. Dotson has scored in double digits while handing out at least five assists in four games in a row.

Dotson registered 16 points (6-7 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 2-2 FT), a rebound, five assists and a steal across 28 minutes in Friday's win over Austin.

Dotson was one of two starters who scored in double digits for the Go-Go, with the other being Jules Bernard, but Dotson stood out due to his efficiency. In addition to missing just one shot, he also co-led the team in the assists category. He should remain a productive player in the G League since he's also benefited from time with the Wizards in the NBA during the current campaign.

Dotson recorded 22 points (7-11 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 3-3 FT), four assists and three rebounds across 25 minutes in Sunday's loss to the Swarm.

EDGE Analysis

Dotson carried Capital City in this game, but his efforts were not enough to lift the team to victory. He's been playing well of late, putting up at least 20 points in each of his last two outings and surpassing the 15-point mark in three of his last four contests.

Dotson (illness) played 15 minutes for the Wizards in Saturday's 114-107 loss to the Clippers, providing three points (1-3 FG, 1-2 3Pt), four rebounds, three assists and one steal.

Dotson stepped up to add depth to a Washington backcourt that was without Monte Morris (groin), Bradley Beal (hamstring) and Will Barton (foot) on Saturday, only to head back to the G League one day later. Dotson played 24 minutes for the Capital City Go-Go in Sunday's 112-105 loss to the Greensboro Swarm, finishing with 22 points (7-11 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 3-3 FT), four assists and three rebounds.

Dotson has entered the league's health and safety protocols.

Dotson is on assignment with the G League's Capital City Go-Go, but he'll need to spend some time away from the team after entering the league's COVID-19 protocols. He'll likely remain with the G League club upon his return.

Dotson posted 20 points (6-14 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 3-3 FT), nine rebounds, six assists and a steal across 33 minutes in Wednesday's 116-114 loss to Maine.

EDGE Analysis

Dotson ended just one board shy of a double-double but also delivered solid playmaking numbers, as he ended up with a strong performance on both ends of the court. The shooting numbers are still not there, however, as Dotson is making just 40.5 percent of his shots while connecting in just 20 percent of his three-point attempts.

He'll join Jordan Goodwin (knee) as one of the two two-way players on the Washington roster, after the Wizards waived wing Jordan Schakel to clear a spot for Dotson. The Wizards already have some familiarity with Dotson, who attended training camp with the club before being cut in October and then landing with the organization's G League affiliate, the Capital City Go-Go. He'll likely continue to see most of his playing time in the G League this season, though in the short term, Dotson could provide some healthy depth at point guard with both Goodwin and starter Monte Morris (ankle) listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Hornets.

Dotson had 17 points (4-11 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 5-5 FT), 10 rebounds, 10 assists and two steals across 28 minutes in Tuesday's win over College Park.

Dotson didn't have the best shooting performance, but that didn't matter much in a game where he also managed to make a huge impact in other categories. This marked his first triple-double of the campaign.

Dotson posted 20 points (5-10 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 7-7 FT), seven assists, three rebounds and a block across 32 minutes in Thursday's win over the Blue Coats.

EDGE Analysis

Dotson endured a slow start to the season, tallying only eight points in the campaign opener, but he has bounced back since then with back-to-back double-digit scoring performances. His shooting numbers still need work, though, as he's making just 36 percent of his field-goal attempts and 16.7 percent of his long-range shots.
