After reaching double figures in scoring for the first time all season with an 11-point effort in Wednesday's win over the Knicks, Wright set a new personal benchmark for scoring Saturday. The flawless shooting from all three levels plus a season-high-tying assist total to go with his usual contributions in the steals category enabled Wright to deliver his best all-around fantasy line of the season. Given his low usage rate along with the fact that he remains in a 20-to-25-minute role, Wright shouldn't be counted on to be much of an asset in the scoring column, but his typically strong outputs in the steals and assists categories give him some appeal in 12-team leagues for managers looking for help in those particular areas.

Wright posted 11 points (3-8 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 4-4 FT), five rebounds, four assists, two blocks and two steals across 22 minutes during Wednesday's 116-105 win over the Knicks.

Wright came off the bench again Wednesday, but he topped 20 minutes of playing time for a fourth consecutive game while scoring in double figures for the first time this season. He's made 12 appearances since returning from a hamstring injury, averaging 5.8 points, 3.5 assists, 2.8 rebounds and 1.8 steals in 19.8 minutes per game.

Wright has been on a minutes restriction since recovering from a hamstring injury. The 30-year-old guard saw 25 minutes of action in his previous game, so it seems like he still has a reasonably long leash.

Wright finished with four points (2-4 FG), four rebounds, three assists, three steals and one block across 25 minutes in Wednesday's 100-97 win over the Bulls.

EDGE Analysis

Wright hasn't exceeded nine points in any of his nine appearances since returning to action Dec. 23 after an extended absence due to a hamstring injury, but his scoring contributions aren't what fantasy managers in deeper leagues are rostering him for anyway. Instead, Wright's value is heavily concentrated in the steals category, an area where he once again shined Wednesday. He's now averaging 2.0 steals per game since returning to action, making him an excellent streaming option, particularly while plenty of minutes are up for grabs in the Washington backcourt in the absence of Bradley Beal (hamstring).

Wright closed with seven points (3-6 FG, 1-3 3Pt), four rebounds, one assist and one steal over 19 minutes during Sunday's 118-95 win over the Bucks.

EDGE Analysis

Wright continues to play as the primary backup behind Monte Morris, although his playing time remains frustratingly low. Since returning from injury, Wright has played fewer than 20 minutes in five straight games. During that time, he's averaging 1.6 steals, making him a viable streaming option in most leagues.

Wright (hamstring) will be available for Friday's game against the Kings.

EDGE Analysis

Wright has been sidelined since late October with a right hamstring strain but is slated to return to the hardwood following the lengthy absence. Considering he hasn't seen game action in nearly two months, Wright will likely be under heavy restrictions Friday. Jordan Goodwin has impressed in Wright's absence and could retain a portion of the backup point guard minutes even when Wright is up to game speed.
