Jordan wound back the clock in the win, grabbing 17 boards in what was a dominant performance on the glass. Despite a few pretty obvious flaws in his game, Jordan has filled in admirably for Nikola Jokic who remains in the health and safety protocols. Until we get word that Jokic is returning, Jordan makes for a viable streaming option for anyone in need of an efficient scorer who can secure double-digit rebounds.

Jordan played a season-high 26 minutes in the loss, filling in for Nikola Jokic who was placed in the health and safety protocols. Despite the promotion, Jordan offered very little in terms of fantasy value, proving to be a non-factor on both ends of the floor. If Jokic misses more time, which is likely, Jordan should be viewed as nothing more than a possible streaming candidate.

With Nikola Jokic (health and safety protocols) and Aaron Gordon (illness) both sidelined, Jordan will start alongside Jeff Green in Denver's frontcourt Wednesday. While Jordan's best years are clearly behind him at this point, he has remained fairly consistent as a backup, averaging 5.5 points and 4.9 rebounds in 13.5 minutes per contest this season.

Jordan logged 10 points (5-6 FG), eight rebounds and one assist across 17 minutes during Saturday's 126-101 win over the Spurs.

EDGE Analysis

Jordan played 17 minutes on Saturday, the second-most minutes he's played in a game this season as the Nuggets cruised to an easy victory over the Spurs. The backup center has produced in both of those games, as he also chipped in eight rebounds on Saturday after grabbing 13 boards in Denver's win over Utah on Oct. 28. With that being said, Jordan doesn't appear to hold much fantasy value outside of games in which the Nuggets are holding a steady lead.

Despite what was announced previously, Jordan won't start against the Thunder on Saturday.

The Nuggets tweeted the lineup with Jordan in at center but later deleted the post as Nikola Jokic will be in the lineup as usual. Jordan has logged just 20 total minutes off the bench in Denver's first two contests, racking up nine points, seven rebounds and one block.

Jordan is in the starting lineup for Saturday's game against the Thunder.

EDGE Analysis

Jordan came off the bench in the team's first two games and played a combined 20 minutes, so it's quite surprising to see him in the starting lineup. Even with the start, he shouldn't provide a lot of value offensively and need not be added to daily lineups.

Jordan (rest) rejoined the action in Friday's preseason finale versus the Nuggets, tallying five points (2-2 FG, 1-2 FT) and five rebounds over 18 minutes.

EDGE Analysis

Jordan got in some action to close out the preseason after resting Wednesday, and he should be set to handle backup duties to Nikola Jokic entering the 2022-23 campaign. Jordan can supply enough points and rebounds on nights when Jokic isn't available to warrant some fantasy looks on occasion.

Jordan will back up Jokic as long as the latter is healthy, and though his days as a fantasy asset are now just a memory, Jordan has shown in the preseason that he can still help clean up the boards when called upon.

With Nikola Jokic given the night off, Jordan slid into the starting lineup. While he could pull down a game-high 10 rebounds, he failed to block a shot and struggled to get anything going on the offensive end. His flaws are even more evident now that age is beginning to take over, making him an afterthought outside the deepest fantasy leagues.
