Coach Lloyd Pierce indicated Sunday that Bembry is expected to remain a starting wing for the Hawks during their three-game road trip that begins Tuesday in Toronto, Brad Rowland of PeachtreeHoops.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Pierce commented on the matter prior to Sunday's 106-82 win over the Heat, during which Bembry starred with 17 points (7-11 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 2-3 FT), two rebounds and two assists in 27 minutes. With Taurean Prince (ankle) and Kent Bazemore (ankle) both not expected back until at least the middle of January and Pierce seemingly content to keep Daniel Hamilton on the bench, Bembry could make for a nice short-term pickup during the Hawks' four-game week. Over his last five outings, Bembry is averaging 12.4 points, 4.2 boards, 1.4 steals, 1.2 assists and 0.8 blocks in 26.6 minutes while shooting 48.1 percent from the floor.

Bembry will draw the start Sunday against the Heat, Kevin Chouinard of the Hawks' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Bembry's move to the starting five will bump Daniel Hamilton to the bench. Bembry's averaging 8.3 points and 4.3 rebounds over 23.4 minutes per game, and could see a larger role in the starting five.

Bembry scored a team-high 19 points (7-12 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 3-3 FT) while adding two rebounds and a steal in 23 minutes off the bench during Friday's 144-112 loss to the Bucks.
EDGE Analysis
This one got away from the Hawks almost immediately -- they were outscored 43-14 in the first quarter -- opening the door for Bembry to see more usage than usual. The third-year wing is putting together a modest career-best campaign as Atlanta's sixth man, and if his role continues to grow he could start showing up on fantasy radars in the second half.

Bembry tallied 11 points, seven rebounds, and one steal in 26 minutes during Wednesday's 114-98 loss to the Wizards.
EDGE Analysis
Bembry has now played at least 26 minutes in five consecutive games with mixed production from game to game. Until Taurean Prince (ankle) returns to the lineup, Bembry is going to be a major part of the rotation and while his skill set is somewhat limited, he can provide nice defensive numbers and could be streamed in across most formats if you are in need of some steals and rebounds.

Bembry posted 11 points (4-6 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 2-3 FT), two rebounds, one assist and one steal across 20 minutes in Monday's 128-111 loss to the Warriors.
EDGE Analysis
Bembry had shown poor form over the previous three games with a 40.9 percent shooting mark from the field while turning the ball over a total of eight times, but he bounced back nicely in the blowout loss. Perhaps more significantly, starting small forward Taurean Prince exited the game with an ankle injury, with coach Lloyd Pierce indicating afterward that he expected Prince to miss time. Assuming that's the case, both Bembry and Kent Bazemore could be in store for more playing time on the wing beginning with Wednesday's game against the Wizards.

Bembry registered 16 points (7-10 FG, 2-3 3Pt), six rebounds, six assists and one block across 27 minutes Sunday in the Hawks' 124-123 win over the Hornets.
EDGE Analysis
The 2016 first-round pick has finally found a home in the Atlanta rotation in his third NBA season and beginning to display the across-the-board production he provided during his college career at St. Joseph's. Bembry is averaging 15.0 points, 6.5 rebounds, 5.0 assists, 2.5 blocks, 1.5 three-pointers and 1.0 steal across 26.5 minutes per game over the last two contests and could continue to cut into the playing time of Kent Bazemore, who no longer looks like a fit for the rebuilding Hawks. The 24-year-old is worth a speculative look in deeper formats.

Bembry will come off the bench Saturday against the Pacers, Kevin Chouinard of the Hawks' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Kevin Huerter will enter the starting lineup in place of Bembry after the 24-year-old struggled in a spot start Thursday against the Nuggets. Bembry has seen his playing time drop off a bit over the last four games, averaging 8.0 points, and 2.8 rebounds across 16.6 minutes per game during that stretch.

Bembry will start at small forward Thursday against the Nuggets.
EDGE Analysis
Bembry will get a chance to enter the starting five with Taurean Prince out with an Achilles injury. Bembry has put up 8.5 points, 4.8 rebounds and 2.2 assists over 24 minutes per game and should continue to benefit from an increased role until Prince returns to health.

Bembry finished with 13 points (4-7 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 3-3 FT), one rebound, one assist, three steals and one block across 17 minutes in the Hawks' 110-103 loss to the Warriors on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
Bembry's scoring total paced the Hawks' second unit and served as his first double-digit scoring effort since Nov. 1 against the Kings, when he'd also put up 13 points. The 24-year-old's minutes are often over 20, which provides him plenty of opportunity to continue churning out solid production across the stat sheet. Bembry continues to boast career bests in all major categories, and he's been particularly impressive on the defensive end with 1.4 steals per contest. His bench role limits his fantasy utility to deeper formats at present, but he's also proven viable as a cost-effective DFS play on multiple occasions this season.

Bembry supplied nine points (3-6 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 3-4 FT), five rebounds and two assists across 16 minutes in the Hawks' 107-106 loss to the Lakers on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
Bembry was typically solid off the bench, an encouraging trend that he's kept up in the majority of games this season. The 24-year-old wing is aptly capable of stuffing the stat sheet in relatively modest allotments of playing time, constantly affording him solid value in deeper formats and as a cost-effective DFS option. Factoring in Sunday's production, Bembry is averaging new high-water marks in points (8.2), rebounds (5.1), assists (2.3), steals (1.2) and three-point percentage (37.9) across a career-high 24.5 minutes.
