The designation is a bit vague, but Collison's status is now something to keep an eye on as Tuesday's game approaches. Look for an update at shootaround, and if his status is ultimately in jeopardy, Cory Joseph, Tyreke Evans and Aaron Holiday could be in position to benefit.

Though Collison is shooting the ball well from the field (60 percent) and distance (58.8 percent) over the Pacers' last six games, it hasn't translated to a bump in playing time. He's fallen below the 30-minute threshold in each contest as coach Nate McMillan has continued to rely heavily on Cory Joseph off the bench. The two point guards look destined to continue cannibalizing one another's fantasy value, rendering Collison more of a streaming option than a must-start player in most 12-team formats or shallower.

EDGE Analysis

Collison continues to hit shots with efficiency, knocking down field goals at a rate of 57.9 percent and threes at a 47.1 percent clip in his previous five contests. The 31-year-old guard has finished with double-digit scoring outputs in four of those five games and he should be in line for a plethora of opportunities moving forward given his recent success.

Collison racked up 19 points (7-7 FG, 2-2 3Pt, 3-3 FT), three rebounds, seven assists and two steals over 24 minutes Friday against Detroit.

EDGE Analysis

Collison didn't miss a shot on the night and committed just one turnover in what turned out to be a stellar final line for fantasy owners. Despite his 8.8 ppg average in December (14 games), he's finished each of his previous three contests with 11 or more points and is shooting 64.0 percent over that stretch. Given his lack of scoring consistency this season, it seems unlikely that Collison's recent hot streak will last for much longer.

Collison finished with 11 points (4-7 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 1-2 FT), eight assists, five rebounds, one steal and one block across 29 minutes Wednesday in the Pacers' 129-121 win over the Hawks.

EDGE Analysis

While Collison delivered a respectable all-around stat line Wednesday, his production has generally trended downward since Victor Oladipo (knee) returned from an 11-game absence Dec. 12. In the Pacers' subsequent eight contests, Collison has averaged 6.9 points, 5.4 assists and 3.3 rebounds while shooting 43.8 percent from the floor and 57.1 percent from the charity stripe.

Collison recorded 10 points (3-7 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 3-3 FT), 17 assists, seven rebounds and two steals in 37 minutes Monday against the Wizards.

EDGE Analysis

Collison easily set a season-high for assists Monday, dishing out 17 helpers in a season-high 37 minutes. It was good to see Collison have a strong statistical performance as he's largely taken a step back this year, with his averages down across the board. That said, Collison has recorded four double-digit assist performances in his last eight games, clearly getting more playmaking opportunities with Victor Oladipo (knee) out.

Collison recorded 23 points (6-7 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 8-8 FT), eight rebounds and three assists across 35 minutes in Tuesday's 96-90 win over the Bulls.

EDGE Analysis

While Collison uncharacteristically had a poor assist game Tuesday night, he took on a much more prominent role scoring with Victor Oladipo's (knee) absence, registering a team-high 23 points. Collison figures to get a plethora of chances to shoot with his backcourt mate sidelined, which bodes well for his interim value.

Collison provided 11 points (3-8 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 3-3 FT), 12 assists, six steals and four rebounds across 33 minutes in Saturday's 111-110 loss to the Kings.

EDGE Analysis

In the search for output absorbers in Victor Oladipo's (knee) absence, Collison looks like one of the prime beneficiaries. His 12 assists and six steals were both season-highs, and since Oladipo went down, he's averaged 7.4 assists per game. With Oladipo out, Collison is required to get the ball to more playmakers, and his dime totals have bumped up as a result. If he's on the waiver wire, Collison is an excellent streaming play while Oladipo is sidelined.

Collison finished with 11 points (3-9 FG, 0-1 3Pt. 5-8 FT), 11 assists, five rebounds, and one steal in 32 minutes during Tuesday's 109-104 victory over the Suns.

EDGE Analysis

Collison produced his first double-double of the season Tuesday, matching his season-high of 11 assists from the night prior. With Victor Oladipo (knee) continuing to miss time, Collison has been able to take on more of a facilitation role in the offense. Oladipo could be back for Thursday's game but with no assurances, Collison could be worth a speculative add if you need assists and steals.

Collison contributed nine points (4-9 FG, 1-2 3Pt), seven assists, six rebounds, and one steal in 27 minutes during Monday's 121-94 win over the Jazz.

EDGE Analysis

Collison stepped up with Victor Oladipo (sore knee) sidelined and provided his most well-rounded effort of the campaign, posting season highs in assists and rebounds. It's unclear whether Oladipo will be ready to go for Wednesday's matchup with the Hornets, but if not Collison could once again shoulder additional responsibility in the playmaking department.
