The Nets are slated to be without Jarrett Allen (foot) on Tuesday, which allows Cunningham to pick up the start in his place. Since joining the Nets in February, Cunningham has averaged just 21.7 minutes across 11 games, but he should see that allotment increase with Allen out of the lineup, making him a potential cheap value play for Tuesday's DFS slate. Look for Rondae Hollis-Jefferson and Jahlil Okafor to also help out with added minutes at center.

Cunningham scored a team-high 22 points (8-12 FG, 4-7 3Pt, 2-4 FT) while adding 12 rebounds, four assists and a block in 27 minutes off the bench during Thursday's 111-96 loss to the Hornets.

EDGE Analysis

He came roaring out of the All-Star break, posting his first double-double of the season and finally taking full advantage of the minutes available in the Nets frontcourt due to the continued absence of Rondae Hollis-Jefferson (groin). Cunningham's fairly limited skill set and upside mean he's unlikely to repeat this performance any time soon, but if he keeps seeing a larger workload he could become relevant in deeper fantasy formats.

Cunningham collected four points (2-3 FG), two assists, and one steal in Monday's 114-101 loss to the Clippers.

EDGE Analysis

Cunningham made his Nets debut Saturday against the Pelicans, finishing with two points, five boards, two dimes, two steals, and one block in 20 minutes versus his former team. It's unlikely that Cunningham will average over 20 minutes per game (which he did for the Pelicans), especially once Rondae Hollis-Jefferson (groin) and Caris LeVert (knee) return sometime after the All-Star break.

Cunningham will be traded from the Pelicans to the Nets in exchange for Rashad Vaughn, Shams Charania of Yahoo! Sports reports.

EDGE Analysis

Cunningham was expected to help take over the power forward minutes in New Orleans following DeMarcus Cousins' (Achilles) season-ending injury, but they ended up trading for Nikola Mirotic, which made Cunningham expendable. He'll now be shipped to Brooklyn, where he'll slot in behind the likes of Rondae Hollis-Jefferson (groin) and Quincy Acy (finger) in the frontcourt. The fact that he'll remain a reserve should't translate to added fantasy value despite the change in scenery. Fantasy owners can continue to avoid him for the time being.
