Jones was assigned Monday to the D-League's Santa Cruz Warriors.
EDGE Analysis
Jones has seen action in just one game this season, when he logged nine minutes, but failed to record anything more than two turnovers. It's a bit discouraging that Jones didn't see any minutes throughout the duration of Zaza Pachulia's (wrist) absence, so it appears this will be nothing more than a developmental season for Jones. He'll head to the D-League to have the opportunity to see extended minutes, but could be recalled in time for Tuesday's tilt with the Jazz or Thursday game against the Nets.

The Warriors recalled Jones from the D-League on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
Jones was sent to the Warriors' affiliate in Santa Cruz for a night in order to get some playing time, and he notched 17 points and nine rebounds overs 34 minutes. Jones did not play in the Warriors' last three games after making his season debut Dec. 11, but he could have a shot to play Saturday against the Trail Blazers if Zaza Pachulia (wrist) is unable to go.

Jones was assigned to the Santa Cruz Warriors of the D-League on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
Jones was recalled from the D-League after starting center Zaza Pachulia went down with a wrist injury to add extra depth at the center position. Jones played nine minutes in the team's blowout loss to the Grizzlies but never saw an opporunity in competitive minutes. With Jones heading back down to the D-League, Pachulia could be close to a return, but either way, Jones will find more consistent playing time in Santa Cruz.

Jones played nine minutes of mop-up duty Saturday, going scoreless with two fouls and two turnovers in Golden State's 110-89 loss to Memphis. The rookie made his NBA debut, entering at the start of the fourth quarter in the blowout loss.
EDGE Analysis
Jones is with the team during its current five-game road trip, which ends Tuesday in New Orleans, and will have his situation re-examined then. There's very little opportunity for playing time with Golden State, so it's likely we'll see Jones sent back to Santa Cruz of the NBA D-League where he can get regular playing time.

Jones was recalled Thursday from the D-League's Santa Cruz Warriors.
EDGE Analysis
Jones has been ramping up his workload in the D-League, as he continues to work his way back into game shape after sitting out because of a torn right pectoral. He's yet to make his season debut with the Warriors, but appears to be inching closer to a return and could be available within the next week or two, although he's not expected to be a member of the team's regular rotation.

Jones was assigned to the D-League on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
Jones is yet to debut for Golden State, but he's appeared in two games for the Santa Cruz Warriors, averaging 3.0 points, 4.0 rebounds and 2.5 blocks in 18.5 minutes per game. The rookie is viewed as more of a long-term asset, and he's unlikely to play a major role in 2016-17.

Jones was recalled Monday from the D-League's Santa Cruz Warriors.
EDGE Analysis
Jones has yet to make his regular season debut with the Warriors, as he's been sidelined since June while recovering from a torn right pectoral. However, he was recently assigned to Santa Cruz, where he was able to play in two games, posting averages of 3.0 points, 4.0 rebounds and 2.5 blocks over 18.5 minutes. He appears to be over the injury and will now be eligible to play with the Warriors after being recalled. That said, Jones is buried on the frontcourt depth chart and will find minutes hard to come by throughout the rest of his rookie campaign.

Jones (pectoral) made his professional debut for Santa Cruz, Golden State's affiliate in the D-Leauge, on Friday night, Anthony Slater of the San Jose Mercury News reports.
EDGE Analysis
Jones, the Warriors' first-round pick in the 2016 draft, returned after months of rehab for a torn pectoral muscle. He played 17 minutes, scoring two points and grabbing seven rebounds. The plan calls for him to stay the weekend with Santa Cruz, who play Sunday night in Reno. The 21-year-old is not expected to make an impact on the Warriors' roster immediately, but as the only center signed beyond the 2016-17 season, there could be a role for a relatively inexpensive big man beginning next season.

Jones (pectoral) will be assigned to Golden State's affiliate in the D-League, Santa Cruz, on Nov. 20 and hopes to play in a game Nov. 25, Connor Letourneau of the San Francisco Chronicle reports. The Warriors hope the 7-foot rookie can join the NBA club soon thereafter.
EDGE Analysis
Jones, who plays a position considered a weakness on the Warriors, is unlikely to make any major contributions this season. It's all about the future for Jones, who's the organization's only center signed beyond this season.

Jones has been working on his low-post moves, participating in 5-on-0 shooting drills and going full speed conditioning during Golden State practices this week, Anthony Slater of the San Jose Mercury News reports.
EDGE Analysis
Jones is ramping up his activity on the court, but the rookie first-round pick is not ready for contact nor will the team allow him to dunk. He's going to miss all of training camp, a period of time that's vital to rookies, so it would appear Jones will not be part of Golden State's rotation once he's recovered from offseason surgery to repair a tear in his pectoral muscle.
