Diallo signed a contract Tuesday with Russian club Avtodor Saratov, Johnny Askounis of Eurohoops.net reports.

The 24-year-old will make the jump overseas after spending the past four seasons at the NBA level with the Pelicans and Suns. After Phoenix declined his team option for 2020-21 in November, Diallo was unable to catch on with another team during training camp. If he fares well overseas, Diallo could draw renewed interest from NBA teams ahead of the 2021-22 campaign.

Diallo accrued six points (2-4 FG, 2-2 FT), three rebounds and one assist in 14 minutes during Sunday's 140-131 victory over the Bucks.

EDGE Analysis

Diallo has seen 14.3 minutes per game over his last two outings, seeing some run while DeAndre Ayton (ankle) is sidelined. Unfortunately, Diallo hasn't done much with the playing time, averaging 4.0 points per game on 37.5 percent shooting from the field in those two contests. Ayton shouldn't be out for much longer, so Diallo remains little more than a super-deep-league option.

Diallo came off the bench and played only one minute Friday in the Suns' 118-101 loss to the Raptors. He missed his only field-goal attempt and accrued no other statistics.

EDGE Analysis

Diallo had started the Suns' final two games before the All-Star break and totaled 25 points and 12 boards between the two contests, but he lost his spot on the top unit with Deandre Ayton (ankle) returning to action. Ayton's top backup, Aron Baynes (hip) was also cleared to play following a multi-week absence, resulting in Diallo falling out of the rotation entirely. Diallo's only action came in the final 1:28 of the fourth quarter, when the outcome was already decided.

Diallo will come off the bench for Friday's contest against the Raptors.

EDGE Analysis

With Deandre Ayton (ankle) back in the fold, Diallo will resume a reserve role. In 36 appearances off the bench, he's averaging 4.7 points and 2.8 rebounds across 10.0 minutes.

Diallo totaled 15 points (7-9 FG, 1-1 FT), four rebounds, three assists and a blocked shot across 39 minutes in Monday's 125-100 loss to the Lakers.

EDGE Analysis

While Diallo was able to score, he faced an uphill battle Monday against Dwight Howard and Anthony Davis, as they both dominated the boards. The Suns had no choice but to run Diallo for almost 40 minutes due to the massive size mismatch in the interior. The Suns have a 9-21 record when Deandre Ayton isn't in the lineup, which represents nearly 64 percent of their losses.

Diallo is starting Monday's game against the Lakers, Gina Mizell of The Athletic reports.

Diallo will enter the starting five for a Phoenix team that's dealing with multiple injuries at center. Aron Baynes (hip), Dario Saric (ankle) and Frank Kaminsky (kneecap) are all out of commission Monday evening.

EDGE Analysis

Diallo was coming in on the heels of a 14-point performance but was unable to keep things going. He barely troubled the scorers and was more of an afterthought in the Suns rotation. He does have a decent enough fantasy game, but the playing time is rarely sufficient to warrant a roster spot in competitive formats.

Diallo had 14 points (5-5 FG, 4-4 FT), eight boards and three blocks in 24 minutes of a 127-91 win against the Rockets on Friday.

EDGE Analysis

Diallo reached double figures for the second time in his last four games in a perfect effort from the floor. His scoring outburst coincided with increased playing time as he also logged more than 20 minutes for the second time in last four games. He'll face the Nuggets on Saturday.

EDGE Analysis

Diallo reached double figures in scoring for the first time since Dec. 4. Moreover, he hadn't earned 20-plus minutes since Nov. 27, but he saw time at both the power forward and center spots with Dario Saric (ankle) and Aron Baynes (hip) sidelined. Saric isn't traveling with the team on this current road trip, so depending on the status of Baynes, Diallo could earn decent minutes again during Tuesday's tilt against the Nets.

Diallo collected two points (1-2 FG), three steals, one rebound and one assist in 15 minutes during Thursday's 121-98 win over the Knicks.

EDGE Analysis

Diallo matched his career high in steals while earning double-digit minutes for the first time since Dec. 28. He has been limited to single-digit minutes in seven of his last nine appearances, and given the plethora of big men on the team's roster it's unlikely Diallo will be able to make much of an impact for fantasy purposes barring a bunch of injuries.
