Randle has settled as a bench piece for the Magic and has logged at least 22 minutes in all but one of his seven appearances this month. He has scored in double digits in four of those contests, and he's averaging 9.7 points, 3.1 rebounds and 1.4 assists per game in that seven-game span.

Randle went for 18 points (6-10 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 4-5 FT), five rebounds and three assists over 30 minutes off the bench in the 119-112 win over the Pistons on Monday.

EDGE Analysis

It was a balanced effort for the Magic who had seven of their nine players score in double figures with Randle's 18 points second on the team behind fellow reserve Mo Bamba's 22 points. Randle over his last eight outings has scored in double-digits four times and is averaging 8.5 points over that span.

Randle tallied 10 points (3-8 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four assists and two rebounds during Thursday's loss to New Orleans.

Randle has now recorded double figures in back-to-back outings, as the guard posted 10 points against the Hawks during the Magic's loss last Tuesday. Since April 16, the guard has totaled 34 points while draining six threes.

Randle will play under a minutes restriction Sunday night against the Nuggets, Josh Robbins of The Athletic reports.

Coach Steve Clifford did not specify how many minutes he expects Randle to play, but the guard is still dealing with the hamstring issue he picked up Saturday night at Utah. Clifford will bring Randle off the bench while rookie R.J. Hampton makes his first career start against his former team.

Randle added 15 points (5-16 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 2-2 FT), six rebounds, three steals and two assists over 35 minutes in Thursday's overtime victory over the Pelicans.

EDGE Analysis

Filling in as a starter for Michael Carter-Williams (illness), Randle had himself a night despite the poor shooting effort. While for the most part, the shots weren't falling, he still set a season-high with 15 points, and the six rebounds were a new career high. Based on his season thus far, it's fair to view this performance as anomaly.

Randle will start Thursday's game against the Pelicans.
