Budinger sprained his ankle in Monday's game against the Pelicans. Budinger managed to play for 30 minutes in Monday's game but should be considered day-to-day moving forward. Minnesota lost their opportunity to play in the playoffs a while back so it would be surprising if Budinger risks further injury to play in the season finale against the Thunder on Wednesday.

Budinger posted 23 points and four rebounds in 29 minutes of action Friday against the Rockets. Budinger is averaging 16.0 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 1.4 steals over the last five games. He's made the most of Kevin Martin (hamstring) sitting, but it's hard to imagine him playing this well when Martin returns. Still, he's worth an add in 14-man leagues.

Budinger posted 22 points, six rebounds, one assist, one steal, and one block in 40 minutes of action Wednesday against the Lakers. Budinger made the most of Kevin Martin (hamstring) sitting, and was able to post a spectacular line. Still, he's not going to see 40 minutes a night moving forward, and his value is limited to 14-man leagues or deeper.

Budinger scored 15 points (4-13 FG, 4-8 3Pt, 3-3 FT) with five assists, three rebounds and two steals in 39 minutes off the bench Monday. The banged up 'Wolves have little choice but to give Budinger big minutes right now, and as a result he's managed to score in double digits in six straight games, averaging 13.7 points, 4.7 boards, 1.5 threes and 1.3 steals over that stretch. Until the team around him gets healthier, he'll have some value in the short term.

Budinger scored 18 points with four rebounds in 26 minutes in Monday's loss to the Nets. Budinger is getting significant minutes off the bench with five players sitting out with injuries or illness. He's played 19 or more minutes in three of the last four games. Budinger will likely head back to the bench when several players return, but he'll likely get significant minutes in the meantime.

Budinger scored ten points with two rebounds in 22 minutes in Sunday's loss San Antonio. After being a healthy scratch most nights in February, Budinger is getting playing time in March amid several T-Wolves injuries. He's averaging 5.3 poits and 15.6 minutes per game in his four games. He's only shooting 14.3 percent from three-point rage over that span and just 31.7 percent this season, which is typically his strength (35.4 percent career).

Budinger did not pay in Wednesday's win over Washington due to a coach's decision. Budinger doesn't figure in Minnesota's future plans, so he's likely to play a very limited role the rest of the season.

Budinger did not score and played just five minutes in Monday's loss to Dallas. With Kevin Martin and Ricky Rubio recently returning from injuries, Budinger will likely have a very limited role off the bench.

Budinger scored two points with two rebounds in 14 minutes in Monday's loss to Oklahoma City. Budinger and Glenn Robinson III are likely to see an increase in playing time with Robbie Hummel out with a broken hand, head coach Flip Saunders told the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports. Don't get too excited as Budinger took just two shots in Monday's game. His increase in playing time isn't likely to last with Kevin Martin perhaps returning from a wrist injury this week.

Budinger ceded his starting spot to Robbie Hummel on Saturday, playing 14 minutes off the pine, scoring six points (2-4 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 1-1 FT). Even when starting, Budinger wasn't doing enough to stoke the interest of fantasy owners and his recent demotion won't do anything to rekindle any optimism that may have existed. If you added him outside of the deepest leagues, it's time to drop him, especially with the upcoming return of Kevin Martin and Shabazz Muhammad.
