Frye (personal) rejoined the team Monday after being excused for the previous two games, Chris Fedor of Cleveland.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Frye has missed seven of the team's 22 games to start the season after dealing with the losses of both his mother and father over the course of the month, which led to the team giving the power forward as much time away as he needed. He will now be back to the team's back-to-back against Memphis on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Frye was excused Friday for the Cavaliers' next two games against the Heat and Hornets for personal reasons, Jason Lloyd of the Akron Beacon Journal reports.
EDGE Analysis
The circumstances surrounding Frye's absence are currently unknown, but the team will be without him until at least Tuesday when they take on the Grizzlies. With Kevin Love (back) listed as questionable, the Cavaliers could be light on frontcourt players, potentially opening the door for more minutes from Richard Jefferson and Chris Andersen.

Frye (personal) rejoined the Cavaliers for morning shootaround Thursday and looks in line to play later in the evening against the Clippers, Joe Vardon of the Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.
EDGE Analysis
Frye missed the previous three games following the passing of his father. While Frye has dealt with tragedy on the personal front this season, he's been an outstanding weapon off the bench, averaging 11.3 points in 18.0 minutes per game while shooting 48.5 percent from three-point range.

Frye (personal) will not play in Tuesday's game against the Bucks, but will return to the court for Thursday's tilt with the Clippers, Jason Lloyd of the Akron Beacon Journal reports.
EDGE Analysis
Frye has been away from the team following the death of his father, and that will be the case again on Tuesday, as the Cavaliers take on the Bucks. That said, he'll reportedly be back with the team on Thursday, which is when he should jump back into the frontcourt rotation. His absence Tuesday could provide a few additional minutes for a guy like Richard Jefferson off the bench.

Frye (personal) remains questionable to play Tuesday against Milwaukee, Dave McMenamin of ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
Frye has lost both of his parents during the course of the young season, and he's been away from the team since Thursday following the death of his mother. The Cavaliers stated that Frye would be granted as much leave as necessary, but there seems to be a chance that the forward could rejoin the team in advance of Tuesday's contest. Coach Tyronn Lue said he was unsure of Frye's status as of morning shootaround, so the veteran could ultimately end up being a game-time decision.

Frye (personal) is listed as out for Sunday's game against the 76ers.
EDGE Analysis
While Frye has experienced plenty of on-court success this season as a floor-stretching power forward, he's had plenty of turmoil away from the court in his personal life. After his mother passed away earlier this season, Frye revealed Thursday that his father died. The Cavaliers plan to give Frye as much time off as he needs to grieve, so he'll remain away from the team for a second straight game Sunday. It's uncertain if he'll rejoin the Cavs in time for Tuesday's matchup with the Bucks.

Frye (personal) has been excused by the Cavaliers for Friday's game against the Mavericks and therefore ruled out, ESPN's Marc Spears reports.
EDGE Analysis
Frye will take a brief leave from the team as he mourns the death of his father, who passed away on Thursday. As a result of Frye's absence, veteran Richard Jefferson figures to see an uptick in minutes, while it's unclear at this point if Frye will be able to return for Sunday's matchup against the 76ers. His potential availability will be monitored throughout the weekend.

Frye is uncertain to be available for Friday's game against the Mavericks due to a personal matter, Jason Lloyd of the Akron Beacon Journal reports.
EDGE Analysis
After losing his mother to cancer a month ago, Frye is again mourning the death of another parent, as the forward announced on his Instagram account Thanksgiving Day that his father passed away. The Cavaliers should have an update on Frye's status after the team conducts its morning shootaround Friday, but it wouldn't be surprising if the veteran took some more time off to be away from the team. Frye has been a key part of coach Tyronn Lue's rotation as a floor-stretching big man off the bench, averaging 11.3 points, 3.1 rebounds and 2.9 three-pointers in 18.0 minutes per contest while shooting 48.5 percent from distance.

Frye scored 21 points (7-10 FG, 5-8 3Pt, 2-2 FT) while adding three rebounds, an assist and a block in 20 minutes off the bench during Tuesday's 121-117 win over the Raptors.
EDGE Analysis
He was arguably the difference in a tight game, as Toronto's big men just couldn't chase Frye off the three-point line. He's been absolutely on fire from downtown since the calendar flipped to November though, hitting 24 of 46 attempts (52.2 percent) over seven games.

Frye finished with 20 points (7-15 FG, 6-12 3Pt), three rebounds, and three blocks in 25 minutes during the Cavaliers' 100-93 victory versus the Hornets on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
Frye has scored in double figures during five of his seven appearances thus far, and in Sunday's showing he posted a season high in scoring, threes, and blocks. Frye's ability to stretch the floor will continue to earn him plenty of minutes off the bench behind Kevin Love and Tristan Thompson, but he typically doesn't provide much else besides scoring (11.6 points per game) and threes (3.0 per game), with averages of only 3.0 rebounds, 0.9 blocks, 0.6 assists, and 0.4 steals in 18 minutes per game.
