Cunningham notched 22 points (8-17 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 5-5 FT), 11 rebounds, 13 assists, one block and one steal across 36 minutes during Friday's 122-121 win over the Hawks.
EDGE Analysis
Cunningham continued his incredibly hot start to November by drilling the game-winning shot and securing his third triple-double in as many appearances. His scoring production has taken a slight hit during this impressive stretch, though he still reached or came close to the 20-point threshold during all three triple-doubles. Cunningham is averaging 20.0 points, 8.8 rebounds and 9.0 assists over his last five games.

Cunningham logged 20 points (9-23 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 10 rebounds and 10 assists across 38 minutes during Wednesday's 108-107 loss to Charlotte.
EDGE Analysis
Cunningham recorded his second straight triple-double, albeit one with no defensive contributions. It's been a solid start to the season for Cunningham, who is averaging 22.9 points per game while adding 6.8 rebounds, 7.7 assists, 2.0 three-pointers and 1.4 combined steals and blocks. He should continue to power the Detroit offense moving forward, with the only concern being his health given the number of games he has missed over the past two years.

Cunningham logged 19 points (8-13 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 2-3 FT), six rebounds and five assists in 35 minutes during Sunday's 106-92 victory over the Nets.
EDGE Analysis
Cunningham produced an extremely efficient outing while leading Detroit in scoring in the victory. Sunday marked the 23-year-old's first game of the regular season that he finished with less than 20 points, though he was highly efficient from two-point range. Cunningham did struggle from beyond the arc, but he is still shooting 39.5 percent from three-point range through seven regular-season appearances.

Cunningham racked up 22 points (10-19 FG, 2-4 3Pt), six rebounds, six assists and one block in 32 minutes during Friday's 128-98 loss to the Knicks.
EDGE Analysis
Cunningham was the lone offensive bright spot for the Pistons on Friday in a game during which Detroit scored just 13 points in the first quarter. Cunningham has logged at least 21 points and six assists across all six regular-season games so far, and he leads the Pistons in both of those statistical categories.

Cunningham recorded 21 points (9-22 FG, 2-8 3Pt, 1-3 FT). six rebounds, 10 assists, a steal and four blocks across 41 minutes in Saturday's 124-118 loss to the Celtics.
EDGE Analysis
Cunningham did everything he could to pull the upset against the reigning champions, but the Pistons came up short even though they fought until the final stages of the fourth quarter. Cunningham wasn't at his best in terms of efficiency, but that won't matter much if he's able to deliver the kind of two-way play he's been putting up to start the campaign. Through three appearances, Cunningham is averaging 27.3 points, 5.0 rebounds and 8.0 assists per game.

Cunningham totaled 28 points (10-23 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 6-6 FT), five rebounds, eight assists and one steal over 37 minutes during Wednesday's 115-109 loss to the Pacers.
EDGE Analysis
The Pistons competed hard in this season opener, and although they came up short and had to settle with the loss, Cunningham delivered an impressive outing both as a scorer and playmaker. If he stays healthy, Cunningham could be in line to improve his 2023-24 season numbers, when he averaged 22.7 points and 7.5 assists per game across 62 regular-season contests.

Cunningham tabled 25 points (10-16 FG, 1-4 3PT, 4-4 FT), 12 rebounds, nine assists and two steals in 31 minutes during Friday's 109-91 preseason win over Phoenix.
EDGE Analysis
After a slow start to his preseason, Cunningham came alive Friday, falling one assist short of a triple-double. It was a dominant performance by Cunningham, reminding fantasy managers just what he is capable of when healthy. Despite an injury-plagued career to this point, Cunningham remains one of the more exciting players in the league. The Pistons have made some savvy moves during the offseason in the hopes of at least being competitive. Managers should cross their fingers that Cunningham can stay on the floor and that Detroit stays relevant beyond February.

Cunningham delivered 13 points (5-13 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 1-2 FT), four rebounds, four assists, a steal and a block across 25 minutes in Sunday's 120-87 preseason win over the Bucks.
EDGE Analysis
Jaden Ivey led the way for the Pistons with a 22-point effort, and while Cunningham struggled from the field, he was the only other starter who reached double-digit points. Cunningham's role as the team's go-to scorer and undisputed star is not under any risk, so the star floor general is simply ramping up to get ready before the regular-season opener against the Pacers on Oct. 23.

Cunningham (knee) and the Pistons agreed on a five-year, $224 million maximum rookie extension Tuesday, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
Cunningham's extension could end up being worth as much as $269 million, an outlay that signals that Detroit is committed to building around the 22-year-old guard. Coming off a 14-win season, the Pistons have made a concerted effort this offseason to bring aboard veterans who can space the floor, with Detroit adding Malik Beasley, Tim Hardaway and Tobias Harris in free agency. Though his 2023-24 season was cut short in early April due to left knee tendinopathy, Cunningham showed signs of growth in his third professional campaign, averaging 22.7 points, 7.5 assists and 4.3 rebounds in 33.5 minutes over 62 games. He should be healthy for the start of training camp this fall, if he hasn't been medically cleared already.

Cunningham (knee) agreed Sunday with the Pistons on a five-year, $226 million max extension, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Cunningham has been a bright spot for the Pistons since being selected with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2021 NBA Draft. He missed most of the 2022-23 campaign due to a left shin injury, but he bounced back in 2023-24, averaging 22.7 points, 7.5 assists and 4.3 rebounds in 33.5 minutes per game over 62 appearances. He missed the end of the season due to left knee tendinopathy but should be back to full health for the start of training camp.
