Sampson will start Wednesday's contest against the Trail Blazers, K.C. Johnson of the Chicago Tribune reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Bulls' frontcourt is decimated by injuries, so Sampson will draw the first start of his career in his eighth NBA game. During Tuesday's game, he dropped 10 points, three rebounds, two assists and one steal in 23 minutes.

Sampson produced 10 points (3-5 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 3-4 FT), three rebounds, two assists, and one steal in 23 minutes during Tuesday's 112-103 loss to the Raptors.
EDGE Analysis
Sampson finished with career highs in scoring, rebounding, assists, and minutes, though this was just his seventh appearance. Given the laundry list of injuries the Bulls are dealing with, the 21-year-old rookie could be in line to receive decent minutes once again during Wednesday's matchup with the Trail Blazers. Nevertheless, at this point he's merely a dart throw in daily leagues.

Sampson tallied 32 points (11-20 FG, 3-11 3Pt, 7-7 FT), six rebounds, two assists and a block in Sunday's game against the Red Claws.
EDGE Analysis
Sampson pieced together a decent shooting day and finished with the team lead in points scored, but it wasn't enough to hand his team the victory. Windy City would fall 121-113 after getting outscored 35-23 in the final quarter of play. The 6-5 guard continues to impress this season in the G League, boosting his scoring average to 17.9 ppg through 31 contests (30 starts) this year.

Sampson played 12 minutes Wednesday in the Bulls' 105-89 win over the Heat, finishing with five points (2-2 FG, 1-1 3Pt) and two rebounds.
EDGE Analysis
One of Chicago's two-way players, Sampson has seen most of his action with the G League's Windy City Bulls since signing with the team in late December. However, with five players sitting out Wednesday, Sampson was able to dress for the NBA team and made his debut early in the second quarter. This was a decent showing for Sampson, but he'll have a tough time sticking in the rotation Saturday in Charlotte if Zach LaVine (ankle) is back for that contest.

Sampson put up 28 points (9-12 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 7-7 FT), six rebounds, four assists and a steal in 40 minutes of playing time during Windy City's 118-109 loss to the Herd on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
Sampson shot well in the first half, scoring 17 of his 28 points and connecting on all three of his three-point attempts in the first 24 minutes. That hot start seemed to wear off in the second half as Sampson only scored four points in the final frame, but that was still enough to lead his team in scoring.

Sampson (undisclosed) did not play in Friday's win over the Bayhawks.
EDGE Analysis
Sampson played 32 minutes in each of Windy City's previous two games so it's clear whatever is ailing the forward didn't occur during a recent contest. He'll attempt to take the court Saturday.

Sampson will ink a two-way NBA contract with the Bulls, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Given Chicago's recent injury woes, there's a good chance Sampson could see time with the Bulls. He's been racking up the points in the G League of late, pouring in 21 points Thursday against Long Island.

Sampson scored 21 points (7-18 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 5-6 FT) and registered eight rebounds to go along with seven assists and a steal in the loss Thursday to Long Island.
EDGE Analysis
The Vipers simply haven't been able to generate much scoring this season, as evidenced by Thursday's 100-point affair, however, Sampson has at least proved to be fairly consistent in that respect, tallying multiple 20-point outings in December. The guard has seen his minute totals rise thanks to an injury to Angel Rodriguez, but that could be coming to a close as the point guard nears his return.

Sampson finished Wednesday's win over Agua Caliente with 31 points (10-19 FG, 5-10 3Pt, 6-7 FT), four rebounds and three assists.
EDGE Analysis
Sampson has been forced to shoulder the majority of the load at point guard thanks to an injury to Angel Rodriguez. Wednesday's outing was by far one Sampson's best this season, and he continues to be a solid fantasy asset so long as he's seeing 38 minutes a night.

Sampson finished Thursday's loss to the Blue with 17 points (6-18 FG, 3-9 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 10 assists and seven rebounds.
EDGE Analysis
Sampson and Vincent Edwards both played 40-plus minutes Thursday thanks to a depth-strapped bench of the Vipers. A near triple-double might have Sampson seeing a similar amount of playing time in the future, but the shooting guard already has a prominent role in terms of scoring such that it would be a surprise to see him dip much in terms of usage.
