Knight will not play for the remainder of the season, per coach Earl Watson, Doug Haller of the Arizona Republic reports.
EDGE Analysis
The decision doesn't come as much of a surprise considering Knight has not been part of the rotation for more than a month. Still, it's somewhat of a disappointing result for those who believed Knight would rebound after somewhat of an underwhelming 2016-16 campaign. The former Kentucky star averaged 19.6 points per game last season but shot just 41.5 percent from the floor, and he immediately struggled to solidify his role with the team in 2016-17. Assuming Knight doesn't see the floor the rest of the season, he'll conclude the campaign with averages of 11.0 points, 2.4 assists and 2.2 rebounds in 21.1 minutes per game. Knight, who started five of 54 games played, converted only 39.8 percent of his field goals, while shooting 32.4 percent from three. He's reportedly been battling back spasms of late, but the lottery-bound Suns obviously have other motivations as the season moves into its final stretch.

Knight (back) has been ruled out for Friday's game against the Magic, John Gambadoro of ArizonaSports.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
With Eric Bledsoe (knee) shelved for the rest of the season and Leandro Barbosa (illness) listed as doubtful Friday, Knight may have been in line for his first appearance since the All-Star break if he was available, but he'll instead remain sidelined for the second straight game due to back spasms. The lack of healthy bodies could allow backcourt starters Tyler Ulis and Devin Booker to approach 40 minutes Friday, making both players appealing targets in DFS. Ronnie Price will likely serve as the top backup at both guard spots.

Knight (back) is questionable for Friday's game against the Magic, Doug Haller of AZCentral Sports reports.
EDGE Analysis
Knight hasn't seen the floor in 11 straight contests, but with Eric Bledsoe (knee) likely being shut down for the season, it's possible Knight could take the court before the end of the year. His availability will be determined by both his ability to rest and recover before Friday's tilt, and coach Earl Watson's willingness to give him minutes.

Knight is dealing with back spasms and has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Kings.
EDGE Analysis
Knight hasn't seen the court in 10 straight games, so even if he was healthy, he likely wouldn't have gotten any minutes. He'll undergo additional rest and recovery over the next few days, but even if he's cleared for Friday's game against the Magic, Knight shouldn't re-enter the regular rotation.

Knight will likely remain out of the Suns' rotation for the remainder of the season, Doug Haller of AZCentral Sports reports.
EDGE Analysis
Regarding the absence of Knight and Tyson Chandler from the rotation -- both of whom haven't played since the All-Star break -- coach Earl Watson stated, "I'm not changing it unless management changes it". Though it's hard to tell whether Knight is struggling because of inconsistent minutes, or getting inconsistent minutes because of his struggles, the fact remains that both rookie Tyler Ulis and veteran Leandro Barbosa have jumped him in the rotation. Knight's fantasy value has been slowly deteriorating throughout the season, but this statement by coach Watson may put the final nail in the coffin on Knights' season, effectively ending his usefulness on almost any fantasy roster.

Knight (coach's decision) didn't see the floor in a 100-96 loss to the Bucks on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
After the Suns failed to find a trade partner for Knight at the deadline last Thursday, it appears the team is more or less writing the 25-year-old off as a sunk cost for the final third of the season. Knight has failed to appear in either of the Suns' two games since the deadline, as coach Earl Watson has deployed Tyler Ulis and Leandro Barbosa as his primary guards on the second unit. It may take an injury in order for Knight to rejoin the mix, but he likely wouldn't take on a meaningful enough role to deliver fantasy value outside of deeper formats. Look for the Suns to shop Knight throughout the offseason, though they may continue to struggle to find a suitor willing to commit to him through 2019-20, the final year of his contract.

Knight will come off the bench for Monday's matchup against the Pelicans, Craig Grialou of ArizonaSports.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Knight drew the start Saturday with Eric Bledsoe getting a game off for rest and provided only three points (1-8 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 1-2 FT) across 20 minutes. His role with the team has fluctuated throughout the season, and without receiving consistent minutes or providing consistent production, Knight holds little value in the majority of fantasy formats.

Knight will draw the start at point guard for Saturday's tilt against the Rockets, Calvin Watkins of ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
With Eric Bledsoe (rest) out, Knight will draw the start. Knight's role with the Suns has fluctuated throughout the season, but he'll have a chance to prove himself against the Rockets. He'll likely head back to the bench once Bledsoe returns.

Knight supplied 16 points (5-11 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 4-4 FT), two rebounds, two assists and two steals across 26 minutes during a 110-91 loss to the Grizzlies on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
Knight led the team's bench with 16 points as he reached double figures in scoring for the third time in the last four games. His two steals were the most he's had since he also he had two on Dec. 21 against the Rockets. Knight's role and production have been up and down so far this season, so it should be interesting to see how he finishes out the year.

Knight registered 17 points (8-11 FG, 1-2 3Pt), four assists, a rebound and a block over 29 minutes in Thursday's 127-120 loss to the Nuggets.
EDGE Analysis
Knight's point total led the second unit and represented his fourth consecutive double-digit scoring effort. The sixth-year pro has only taken double-digit shot attempts thrice in nine January games, but two of those occasions have come within the last four contests as Knight has received 20 or more minutes during every game in that stretch. Although his contributions have been somewhat on the inconsistent side overall, the talented guard remains an intriguing low-cost DFS play and serviceable backup in many season-long formats.
