Jennings was waived Monday by the Knicks, Adrian Wojnarowski of The Vertical reports.
EDGE Analysis
Jennings reportedly told the team that he wished to play for a contender, so the Knicks decided to just waive the veteran point guard who is attached to a one-year contract. Should he go unclaimed, look for Jennings to explore his options with playoff contenders around the league, where he will likely be able to find a role as a solid No. 2 point guard. With Jennings out of New York, the Knicks plan to sign guard Chasson Randle, who was previously with the 76ers, as the team now lacks a legitimate second option at the point guard position.

Jennings is dealing with a sore left Achilles and has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Thunder, Al Iannazzone of Newsday Sports reports.
EDGE Analysis
This is the first we've heard of the injury for Jennings, but with it being listed as soreness, it doesn't sound like anything too serious. The Knicks are likely just playing it cautious with Jennings, who will now get about a week off during the All-Star break to get back to full strength. With Jennings out, Ron Baker and Justin Holiday could pick up some extra minutes in the backcourt behind Derrick Rose at point guard.

Jennings will head to the bench for Sunday's tilt with the Spurs, Steve Popper of the USA Today reports.
EDGE Analysis
Jennings got the spot start in Friday's loss to the Nuggets, contributing six points (2-10 FG, 2-6 3Pt), 13 assists, two rebounds, and one steal across 39 minutes. Courtney Lee will slide back over to shooting guard with Willy Hernangomez getting the start at center, leaving Jennings to return to his role off the bench.

Jennings accumulated six points (2-10 FG, 2-6 3Pt), 13 assists, two rebounds, and one steal across 39 minutes during Friday's 131-123 loss to the Nuggets.
EDGE Analysis
Jennings got a spot start at shooting guard Friday as Kyle O'Quinn got bumped from the starting five and Kristaps Porzingis was shifted to center. While Jennings' only made field goals were two three-pointers, he continues to establish himself as a willing distributor for the Knicks, handing out a season-high 13 dimes in a fast-paced matchup against the Nuggets. He's now logged eight games this season with double-digit assists, three of which were double-doubles. Jennings normally has his best games when Derrick Rose is absent, but with the Knicks 11 games under .500, coach Jeff Hornacek seems willing to shake things up in the rotation. The Knicks' next contest comes Sunday against the Spurs, and it's worth keeping an eye open to see if Jennings is featured in the starting lineup once more with Rose healthy.

Jennings will draw the start at shooting guard for Friday's tilt against the Nuggets, voice of the Nuggets Jason Kosmicki reports.
EDGE Analysis
After providing 16 points and five assists in 28 minutes off the bench during Monday's contest, Jennings has seemingly earned his way into the starting lineup, effectively knocking Courtney Lee to the bench. While it remains to be seen how long this will last, Jennings could be a solid DFS option while his price still reflects his time on the bench.

Jennings provided 16 points (5-9 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 5-7 FT), five assists, three rebounds and one steal in 28 minutes off the bench in Monday's 121-107 loss to the Lakers.
EDGE Analysis
Jennings was undoubtedly a popular fantasy pickup after he provided a wealth of counting stats during his four-game run as the starting point guard in place of Derrick Rose (ankle), and though he moved back to a bench role Monday, Jennings still turned in a quality outing for those who kept him in their lineups. Even so, considering that Jennings is averaging only 7.0 points, 4.6 assists, 2.3 rebounds and 1.0 three-pointer in 22.0 minutes per game over 43 appearances off the bench this season, it's probably wise to fade this performance and not get overly invested in the 27-year-old.

Jennings will return to the bench for Monday's matchup with the Lakers, Ian Begley of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Derrick Rose (ankle) has missed the last four games, a stretch where Jennings had averaged 17.0 points, 8.3 assists, 4.0 rebounds, 3.0 three-pointers and 3.0 steals. However, with Rose back in the lineup and expected to take on his usual role with the starters, Jennings will return to the bench and is in line to see a significant decrease in value. Jennings logged back-to-back games playing over 40 minutes recently, but will likely drop to minutes in the mid-20's Monday and moving forward.

Jennings finished with 23 points (8-13 FG, 6-8 3Pt, 1-2 FT), 10 assists, five rebounds and two steals in 42 minutes Saturday during a 111-104 loss to the Cavaliers.
EDGE Analysis
Jennings was on fire Saturday. His fast-twitch style doesn't leave defenders a lot of time to react, and when Jennings's jumper is falling his defender has to play him close, which spells doom for someone with as fast of a first-step as Jennings. Unfortunately, his shot doesn't fall most of the time. Jennings is shooting just 30.5 percent over his last 10 games, even after Saturday's contest.

Jennings scored 6 points (1-11 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 4-6 FT) while adding 10 assists, five steals and three rebounds across 43 minutes in Wednesday's 95-90 victory over the Nets.
EDGE Analysis
Jennings cooled off tonight after being hot in the two games that Derrick Rose (ankle)n had missed. Although his steal and assist counts were on par, Jennings was terrible from the floor Wednesday night in a game where he had the minutes to make something happen. Rose is questionable for Saturday's game against the Cavaliers, but if he doesn't go, look for Jennings to continue to have the opportunity to start and make plays.

Jennings scored 21 points (5-16 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 9-11 FT) and added five rebounds, four steals and two assists in 38 minutes during Tuesday's 117-101 loss to the Wizards.
EDGE Analysis
In two games with Derrick Rose (ankle) out, Jennings has averaged 19.5 points, 6.5 assists and 4.0 rebounds in 45.5 minutes per game. Granted, those numbers are inflated by Sunday's quadruple overtime loss to the Hawks. Nonetheless, they point to the increased role Jennings takes for the Knicks when Rose is out. Before this current stint, the last time Rose missed a game Jennings went for 20 points, five rebounds and four assists. Jennings has double-digit points in each of the seven games Rose has missed this season, and he has at least four assists in five of them. Moving forward, any time Rose is out, Jennings gets a big boost in value.
