Clarke (Achilles) won't play in Wednesday's game versus the Warriors.
EDGE Analysis
Despite Clarke logging practices in the G League, he has yet to suit up this season while dealing with a left Achilles injury. Clarke's next chance to suit up is Friday's matchup with the Spurs.

Clarke (Achilles) is out for Monday's game against the Kings.
EDGE Analysis
Clarke was assigned to and recalled from the team's G League affiliate Sunday, presumably so he could get a practice in with the team, suggesting that he is progressing towards a return. His return will not come Monday, however, making his next opportunity to suit up Wednesday against the Warriors.

The Grizzlies recalled Clarke (Achilles) from the G League's Memphis Hustle on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
Clarke was assigned and recalled on the same day and presumably went through another practice with the Grizzlies' G League affiliate, as the Hustle didn't play a game Saturday. The veteran forward has yet to play this season while rehabbing from an Achilles surgery last year, but he's nearing a return to game action. However, even when cleared, Clarke figures to operate under major restrictions.

Clarke (Achilles) has been ruled out for Saturday's game against the Thunder.
EDGE Analysis
Clarke, who's yet to play this year while rehabbing from Achilles surgery, is nearing a return to game action but will miss at least one more contest. His next chance to suit up will come Monday in Sacramento, but even if he's cleared to suit up, Clarke will likely be under major restrictions.

The Grizzlies assigned Clarke (Achilles) to the G League's Memphis Hustle on Wednesday to participate in practice.
EDGE Analysis
Clarke will be recalled following practice, but he'll remain out for Wednesday's game against the Hornets. In any case, Clarke's ability to practice in the G League suggests that he's likely closing in on making his season debut while he completes his recovery from the surgery he underwent last March to address a torn left Achilles' tendon. Even if Clarke is cleared to play in the coming days, the Grizzlies will bring him back slowly with significant restrictions, so he's unlikely to be an impact fantasy player down the stretch.

Clarke (Achilles) has been ruled out for Tuesday's game against the Wizards.
EDGE Analysis
Clarke continues to recover from a left Achilles tendon tear he suffered almost a year ago. He has been doing minimal contact work recently and is expected to play before the end of the season, but he can be considered week-to-week at this point, barring a full participation at practice.

Grizzlies head coach Taylor Jenkins said Feb. 22 that Clarke (Achilles) has been taking part in more minimal contact work on the court and is expected to play before the end of the season, Drew Hill of The Daily Memphian reports.
EDGE Analysis
Jenkins offered up no concrete timeline for Clarke's return, but since he's not taking full contact just yet, the veteran big man can probably be viewed as week-to-week rather than day-to-day at this stage of his recovery from the left Achilles' tendon tear he suffered just under a year ago. Given the 20-40 Grizzlies aren't shaping up as playoff contenders, the team has little incentive to rush Clarke back on the court until they're fully confident in his health.

Clarke (Achilles) will remain on the sidelines for Friday's game against the Clippers.
EDGE Analysis
Clarke hinted back in December that he was hopeful to return at some point around the All-Star break, but he remains without an official timetable while he continues to recover from a serious injury. He's safe to leave on the waiver wire in most fantasy formats.

Clarke (Achilles) said Wednesday that he expects to make his season debut around the NBA All-Star break, which begins Feb. 16, Marc J. Spears of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Clarke has yet to make season debut after tearing his left Achilles in March of 2023 and undergoing surgery. However, he posted a story on his personal Instagram on Wednesday, showing him making a "rehab milestone" by dunking a basketball. With Steven Adams (knee) out for the season, Clarke could carve out a sizable role for himself in Memphis' rotation when he returns.

Clarke (Achilles) has no timeline for return after suffering a torn Achilles in March, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
Clarke underwent a secondary procedure on his Achilles in the offseason, but updates on his recovery have been scarce. The 27-year-old's absence is exasperated by news of Steven Adams' season-ending knee surgery. Xavier Tillman, Santi Aldama and potentially David Roddy will be heavily relied upon in the frontcourt.
