Mavericks forward Brandan Wright came off the bench on Saturday for 11 points, eight rebounds and four blocks 29 minutes. Wright's minute totals for the past three games (25, four, 29) point to his elusive value. His per-minute numbers are always impressive, particularly his blocks, but he struggles with fouls and we don't expect him to surface with reliable value.

Brandan Wright was inactive against the Nuggets on Monday. We had openly wondered if he might have some deep league value after producing in the preseason, but this should close the book on any fantasy discussion for Wright. If he can secure a solid role, we'll let you know.

Brandan Wright was one of the lone bright spots for the Mavs on Tuesday, hitting 6-of-7 shots and finishing with 12 points and four rebounds. As bad as Brendan Haywood looked tonight it's possible Wright could get some run at center for the Mavs. But as of now, he doesn't have fantasy value in most leagues.

The Mavericks have signed free agent forward Brandan Wright. It sounds like they gave him a guaranteed deal and not a "make-good" contract, but details aren't yet known. He will provide depth and size for the Mavs' bench.

When asked if he will re-sign with the Nets after the lockout, free agent Brandan Wright responded, "We'll see how it goes." The Nets didn't extend him a qualifying offer, and he may not want to return to the role he had after being traded from Golden State last season (11.4 minutes per game). Whether he'll find a team willing to offer him more minutes/money remains to be seen.

The Nets are not expected to make a qualifying offer to Brandon Wright. It's a horrible sign for Wright's career. The Nets will allow the former No. 8 overall pick to walk even though he's 6-foot-10 and just 23 years old. The Warriors gave up on Wright and now the Nets are as well.
