Beal posted nine points (4-13 FG, 1-5 3Pt), one rebound, two assists and one block over 31 minutes before fouling out of Sunday's 122-116 loss to Minnesota in Game 4 of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs.
EDGE Analysis
This was Beal's worst game of the playoffs, and it resulted in the Suns getting swept by the Timberwolves in the first round. For the fifth straight campaign, Beal was unable to eclipse 60 games and struggled with injuries. He ended up making 53 appearances in his first season with the Suns, posting averages of 18.2 points, 5.0 assists, 4.4 rebounds, 1.0 steals and 1.9 three-pointers.

Beal finished Friday's 126-109 loss to the Timberwolves in Game 3 of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs with 28 points (10-19 FG, 6-11 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four rebounds and four assists in 43 minutes.
EDGE Analysis
Beal led the Suns in scoring Friday, but as has been the case throughout the series, Phoenix simply hasn't been able to hang with the Timberwolves throughout an entire game, which explains the 0-3 series deficit the Suns are currently in. This was the first team Beal surpassed the 15-point mark in the series, and the veteran guard will need to keep the momentum going for Game 4 on Sunday if the Suns want to avoid getting swept in the first round.

Beal posted 14 points (6-17 FG, 2-4 3Pt), four rebounds and six assists across 42 minutes during Tuesday's 105-93 loss to the Timberwolves in Game 2 of the Western Conference Quarterfinals.
EDGE Analysis
Beal was relatively quiet in the loss, much like his teammates. Despite keeping it close, the Suns were simply overwhelmed by the Timberwolves, both inside and outside the paint. Now trailing 2-0 in the series, Phoenix will look to get back on track Friday when they host Game 3.

Beal posted 36 points (14-21 FG, 6-6 3Pt, 2-2 FT), six rebounds, five assists, one block and two steals across 38 minutes during Sunday's 125-106 victory over Minnesota.
EDGE Analysis
The 30-year-old guard closed out the regular season in style, producing his best scoring effort since he dropped 43 points against the Wizards on Feb. 4. Beal went nine straight games in late March and early April without scoring more than 15 points but has built up plenty of momentum heading into the playoffs -- over the Suns' last five contests he scored 20-plus four times, averaging 26.8 points, 6.0 boards, 4.2 assists, 3.8 threes, 1.8 blocks and 1.0 steals while shooting a blistering 61.4 percent from the floor and an incredible 73.1 percent (19-for-26) from beyond the arc.

Beal closed Friday's 108-107 victory over the Kings with 20 points (9-13 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 1-1 FT), nine rebounds, four assists, one block and two steals in 34 minutes.
EDGE Analysis
Beal is getting hot at the right time. The veteran guard has averaged an eye-popping 58 percent from the floor over the last seven games, accompanied by an impressive 63. 3 percent conversion rate beyond the arc over the same period. Beal was brought over from Washington this season to help the Suns get over the playoff hump, and the time is near for the 30-year-old to deliver.

Beal logged 19 points (6-13 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 6-6 FT), seven rebounds, three assists, five blocks and one steal across 39 minutes during Tuesday's 105-92 loss to the Clippers.
EDGE Analysis
Beal got hot in the second half after scoring only two points before halftime. He rattled off 15 points to reduce the Suns' massive deficit, but his oddest statistic came on the defensive end. Beal, who is 6-4, converted a head-scratching five blocked shots in the game, a career high for the veteran guard.

Beal chipped in 33 points (13-19 FG, 7-8 3Pt), three rebounds, five assists and two blocks over 39 minutes during Sunday's 113-105 loss to New Orleans.
EDGE Analysis
Beal came through in a game where the Suns needed him, and even though Phoenix ended up losing, Beal's numbers, both from an efficiency and scoring perspective, were impressive. Beal reached the 20-point mark for the first time since March 17, and he'll aim to carry the momentum of this performance to Tuesday's matchup against the Clippers.

Beal registered 10 points (3-11 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 1-2 FT), four rebounds, seven assists, one block and one steal in 37 minutes during Wednesday's 104-97 victory over the Nuggets.
EDGE Analysis
Beal has played through a finger injury, but his recent results suggest some difficulty with his shot. The veteran has converted only 31.8 percent of his 22 shot attempts over the past two games, and the Suns need much more from Beal if they hope to stay out of the Play-In Tournament. With only 19 total points over the past two games, Beal will try to turn things around against the Thunder on Friday.

Beal (finger) is available to play Wednesday against the Nuggets.
EDGE Analysis
Beal didn't practice Tuesday and could've been trending in the wrong direction, but he ended up being available and should handle his regular workload. Beal is averaging 17.3 points, 6.5 assists, 3.8 rebounds and 1.1 steals per game since the beginning of March.

Suns head coach Frank Vogel said that Beal (finger) didn't practice Tuesday and is questionable for Wednesday's game against the Nuggets, Amanda Pflugrad of 3TV Phoenix reports.
EDGE Analysis
Beal failed to practice one day after spraining his right right finger in the fourth quarter of Monday's 104-102 loss to San Antonio. Given that the injury is to Beal's dominant hand, the Suns could be inclined to hold him out Wednesday if the coaching staff has any concern that his shooting might be compromised. Royce O'Neale and Eric Gordon would likely benefit the most from a minutes standpoint if Beal ultimately sits out Wednesday.
