Austin Daye is not expected to play on Thursday, but should be available for the Grizzlies on Friday. Daye, like Tayshaun Prince and Ed Davis, are expected to make their Grizzlies debut on Friday. Daye has real sleeper appeal with no clear starter at small forward in Memphis, and he's shown an ability to contribute in multiple categories when given the opportunity.

G/F Austin Daye will reportedly be traded to the Grizzlies, along with Tayshaun Prince, in exchange for Jose Calderon. Prince looks like the starter for the new starting small forward for the Grizzlies after the Rudy Gay trade, but it's possible Daye could see new life now that he's out of Detroit, where he never seemed to really get a fair shake. He's put up some incredible numbers in Summer League games and the preseason, but has never really gotten a chance to show his skills on a full-time basis. There's a decent chance the same will be true in Memphis, but he's at least worth keeping an eye on for his new team.

Austin Daye went scoreless in 11 minutes during Sunday's OT loss, just one game after he scored a season-high 20 points. He's been averaging around 20 minutes over the past two weeks, but his role won't increase as long as Tayshaun Prince is healthy.

Austin Daye was hot in Friday's win over the Hawks, shooting 9-of-11 from the field for 20 points with six rebounds, one assist and two 3-pointers in 22 minutes. He's creeping on the radar in deeper leagues with 23.5 minutes per game in his last six games. The Pistons have won five of their last six games, so that certainly won't hurt Daye's chances to earn playing time. He's worth a look for owners that are holding a player that has lost his luster.

Austin Daye had 13 points, two rebounds, two assists and two 3-pointers in 21 minutes off the Pistons bench on Tuesday. Daye is suddenly in the Pistons' rotation and is averaging 8.6 points, 5.0 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 1.8 3-pointers over his last five, making him worth a look in deep leagues.

Austin Daye scored 11 points on 4-of-5 shooting (including two threes) with four rebounds, two assists, and two blocks in 29 minutes on Friday against the Heat. The Pistons bench has been outplaying the starters recently, but these types of things tend to even out and Daye has been extremely inconsistent over his career. It's worth noting that the Pistons have been actively shopping him, but there are still more red flags than reasons to add Daye in most standard formats.

Austin Daye played a season-high 32 minutes and had eight points, 11 rebounds and two 3-pointers as the Pistons lost to the Hawks. Daye hit a huge shot to force overtime and the Pistons stuck with their bench for the fourth quarter, as well as both overtimes tonight. We have always liked Daye's game and are not surprised by tonight's explosion, but would be surprised to see it happen again anytime soon under coach Lawrence Frank. Continue to ignore Daye in your fantasy league.

The Pistons are actively shopping F Austin Daye, a source told Yahoo! Sports' Marc J. Spears. The report comes after Daye had two points and two rebounds in 18 minutes Monday. Daye hadn't played since late Nov. and it's entirely possible the Pistons were showcasing him for other teams. Barring a change in circumstances, Daye isn't worth attention in most formats.

Austin Daye played 18 minutes in Monday's game, and Lawrence Frank said he'll have a chance to remain in the rotation. Daye had just two points and two rebounds, but he hadn't played since late November and some rust is predictable. Even if he beats out Corey Maggette for backup SF minutes, Daye isn't worth fantasy attention in standard leagues.

Austin Daye (illness) did not play on Friday against the Grizzlies. We're moving him off the injury report unless it's reported that the illness is still keeping him off the floor. After all, we're not even sure his ailment was responsible for his DNP-CD tonight.
