Davis (thumb) is probable for Friday's contest against the Clippers, Dan Woike of the Los Angeles Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
The All-Star forward was initially listed as questionable for Friday's contest due to a thumb injury but appears on track to play against the Clippers. Davis is putting together another solid season with the Lakers, averaging 24.3 points, 10.0 rebounds and 2.3 blocks per game this season. If the 28-year-old can't suit up, his next chance to return to the court comes Tuesday against the Celtics.

Davis (thumb) is questionable for Friday's game against the Clippers, Ryan Ward of LakersNation.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Davis played through a head injury Tuesday against the Kings, but he's now dealing with a left thumb sprain. Across his last three appearances, the 28-year-old has averaged 24.0 points, 8.3 rebounds and 3.0 rebounds in 40.7 minutes per game.

Davis (head) posted 25 points (12-22 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 1-2 FT), seven rebounds, three assists, two blocks and two steals in 35 minutes during Tuesday's 117-92 victory over the Kings.
EDGE Analysis
Davis continues to put up monster two-way statlines. With LeBron James (COVID-19 protocols) out for several games, the Lakers will presumably lean on Davis more than usual on both ends.

Davis (head) is probable for Tuesday's contest against the Kings, Harrison Faigen of LakersSBN reports.
EDGE Analysis
Davis was listed as probable ahead of Sunday's 110-106 win over the Pistons, but he was able to suit up and registered 24 points and 10 rebounds. Barring a setback, the star big man will likely be available for his usual workload Tuesday.

Davis closed Sunday's 110-106 win over the Pistons with 24 points (10-15 FG, 2-2 3Pt, 2-3 FT), 10 rebounds, two assists, three blocks and two steals across 38 minutes.
EDGE Analysis
Davis was dynamic on both ends of the floor during the win, continuing what has been a magnificent start to the season. Despite being a regular feature on the daily injury report, Davis has been relatively healthy in terms of game readiness thus far. Fantasy managers have to be thrilled with the return on investment. Moving forward, the hope is that he can simply stay healthy.

Davis (head) is starting Sunday's game against the Pistons.
EDGE Analysis
Davis was listed as probable ahead of Sunday's matchup, so it isn't very surprising to see him available against Detroit. He totaled 23 points, eight rebounds, four assists, four blocks and three steals in 49 minutes during Friday's loss to the Kings.

Davis (head) is probable for Sunday's contest against the Pistons.
EDGE Analysis
Davis landed on the injury report Saturday with a head contusion, but he has no concussive symptoms and is likely to play Sunday. It's unclear when he suffered the injury, but he didn't seem to be bothered at all Friday against Sacramento, when he totaled 23 points, eight rebounds, four assists, four blocks and three steals across 49 minutes.

Davis provided 23 points (9-22 FG, 0-5 3Pt, 5-8 FT), eight rebounds, four assists, four blocks and three steals over 49 minutes during Friday's 141-137 3OT loss to Sacramento.
EDGE Analysis
While it was another strong defensive effort for Davis, it was overshadowed by the Lakers blowing a double-digit lead and failing to close out one of the league's worst teams in three overtime periods. After missing Wednesday's win over the Pacers, Davis struggled from the floor, the free throw line, and from three, where he's now down to an unbelievably poor 16.7 percent (7-42 3PT) on the season. After shooting 26.0 percent from deep last season and 33.0 percent in 2019-20, Davis' outside shot has completely abandoned him to the point that he's no longer a threat from that area of the floor. Still, Davis remains an elite fantasy option thanks to his scoring, rebounding and defensive contributions. Entering the weekend, he's up to 1.3 steals and 2.3 blocks per game.

Davis (illness) is available against the Kings on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
Davis is no longer on the league's injury report. Though he sat out one game because of a non-COVID illness, it should not prevent him from playing well against an underwhelming Kings team. Davis averaged 26.9 points and 2.1 blocks across the Lakers' previous seven home games.

Davis (illness) will not play during Wednesday's contest against the Pacers, Dave McMenamin of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
The All-Star big will miss his first game of the season due to an illness. Carmelo Anthony and Dwight Howard are both candidates to see more run in Davis' absence. The Kentucky product's next chance to return comes Friday against the Kings.
