A good week last week with category streamers, with guys you should still be hanging onto like Franz Wagner, Grayson Allen, and Jalen Brunson. It's crazy what you can find on the waiver wire when you're really looking, so I hope you're locked in here with me for another round of category streamers! We're going to want to fade the Orlando Magic and Washington Wizards as those are the only two teams with two games this week. Sixteen teams have four games this week, so we'll try to focus on those. ...
Anfernee Simons (PG/SG, POR): Week 4 Waiver Wire Pickups rotoballer.com Sun 11/7/21 7:38 AM
BALLER MOVE: Add in 10+ Team LeaguesROSTERED IN: 32% of leaguesANALYSIS: Just when you thought there could be no more noise surrounding Damian Lillard--and Portland by extension--the point guard went on and kicked the year off wildly underperforming to date. The trade rumors will never stop, obviously, but now that Lillard is also putting on bad-after-bad performances, the headlines have maximized their growth. And that's why you are getting lost in a mess and missing on the true breakout player...
Anfernee Simons, Nassir Little Will Miss Thursday’s Game rotoballer.com Wed 3/24/21 6:58 PM
Portland Trail Blazers point/shooting guard Anfernee Simons and small/power forward Nassir Little have been ruled out for Thursday's contest against the Heat as they remain in the league's health and safety protocols. Simons and Little had both been playing key roles as reserves for Portland as of late, with their absence Tuesday forcing the squad to keep their rotation to a tight eight-player group. Damian Lillard and C.J. McCollum stand to see an incremental minutes increase without Simons...
Anfernee Simons On 20-Minute Restriction Thursday rotoballer.com Thu 2/4/21 6:41 PM
Portland Trail Blazers guard Anfernee Simons (hamstring) will be limited to around 20 minutes Thursday against the Philadelphia 76ers. Simons is getting the start with Damian Lillard (abdomen) out, but had aggravated his hamstring in their last game Tuesday. Simons was playing well leading up to the injury, but is looking like a fade in Thursday's DFS. Instead, Rodney Hood and Gary Trent Jr. could be in line for huge usage rates along with Carmelo Anthony.
Anfernee Simons (PG/SG, POR): Week 7 Waiver Wire Pickups rotoballer.com Sat 1/30/21 9:24 AM
BALLER MOVE: Add in 14-Team LeaguesROSTERED IN: 10% of leaguesANALYSIS: The Blazers are hurting for warm bodies, and hurting bad at it. Zach Collins remains out, CJ McCollum and Jusuf Nurkic got injured earlier this season, and even Robert Covington and Derrick Jones entered the injury report in the last few hours. Ugh. Portland already relied on Anfernee Simons last season, but he had not been part of the equation a lot in 2021 until there was no other option for the Blazers.Since last Sunday, ...
Anfernee Simons Will Miss Wednesday’s Season Opener rotoballer.com Wed 12/23/20 8:15 PM
Portland Trail Blazers point/shooting guard Anfernee Simons (hamstring) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game versus Utah. Simons serves as Damian Lillard's primary backup, which could allow for the Blazers' All-Pro to absorb an additional handful of minutes. Despite his increased usage last year, Simons still averaged just 1.4 assists across 20.7 minutes per game. With Lillard and C.J. McCollum dominating minutes in the backcourt, Simons has a muddled path to season-long relevance to begin...
Anfernee Simons Draws Questionable Tag For Wednesday rotoballer.com Tue 12/22/20 7:43 PM
Portland Trail Blazers point guard Anfernee Simons (hamstring) has been listed as questionable to play in Wednesday's season opener versus Utah. A hamstring ailment has slowed Simons throughout the pre-season, and an absence Wednesday could funnel additional minutes in the direction of Damian Lillard. Having taken on a sizable bench role last year, Simons still struggled overall from the field (39.9 percent) and was limited to being a DFS value play when Lillard or CJ McCollum missed time. ...
Anfernee Simons Could Miss Some Time rotoballer.com Sat 12/19/20 12:09 PM
Portland Trail Blazers guard Anfernee Simons (hamstring) was unable to suit up for Friday's preseason matchup. He has been dealing with a hamstring issue that doesn't seem to want to go away. There is some doubt that Simons will be healthy enough to play in the regular season opener next week. Regardless, Simons is going to have a limited role off the bench, so he doesn't have great fantasy value. Gary Trent Jr. is a much better fantasy option for deep leagues.
Anfernee Simons is Expected to Play on Monday rotoballer.com Mon 3/2/20 1:07 PM
Portland Trail Blazers guard Anfernee Simons (ankle) is expected to suit up for Monday's game against the Orlando Magic. He was listed as questionable with a sprained left ankle, but it appears that he's feeling better now. Damian Lillard (groin) remains out, so Simons will get increased playing time. However, Simons has been unable to capitalize with extra minutes, so he's better left on the waiver wire in standard leagues. He might be able to help in deep leagues, but doesn't have great ...
Anfernee Simons Cleared To Suit Up Tuesday rotoballer.com Tue 2/11/20 6:10 PM
Portland Trail Blazers point/shooting guard Anfernee Simons has been given the thumbs up to return to action for Tuesdays contest against the New Orleans Pelicans after a one-game absence due to a concussion. Simons should be in line to reclaim his role off the bench against the up-tempo Pelicans, potentially suppressing Gary Trent Jr.'s role, who was the only Trail Blazers to score as a reserve Sunday. The 20-year-old Simons has kicked off February by shooting 54.2 percent overall in his ...
