Andrew Bynum (knee) will miss Friday's game against the 76ers. Even though Bynum will miss Friday's game against the Sixers, the team did add that he will be active for Saturday's game against Detroit. Ian Mahinmi is listed as a game-time decision for Friday, so Bynum may have to take a backseat at the third-string center if Mahinmi is able to suit up on Saturday. The 26-year-old managed to put up eight points and 10 boards in 16 minutes of action on Tuesday, but his fantasy value is still limited to the deepest of leagues.

Andrew Bynum did not practice on Wednesday. Coach Frank Vogel said he doesn't how if Bynum can play in back-to-back sets, which is not a surprise at all after countless conditioning issues and knee problems over the past couple seasons. He played 16 minutes on Tuesday and looked a little better than expected, but there's no way fantasy owners should take any sort of chance on Bynum.

Andrew Bynum (knees) isn't sure whether he'll play in both of Indiana's back-to-back games on Friday and Saturday. The Pacers initial plan was to rest him for a game, but that could change if his body responds well after his 16-minute debut on Tuesday. He scored eight points with 10 rebounds in his first stint of the season, and looked surprisingly good while doing so, but fantasy owners should view him skeptically in standard leagues.

Andrew Bynum made his Pacers debut on Tuesday and hit 3-of-4 shots for eight points and 10 rebounds in 16 minutes on Tuesday. Yes, he looked good against the Celtics and had a spring in his step, which he acknowledged in a post-game interview, but he's far from a lock to stay healthy for very long. We'll have to see how his knees feel in the morning and his return to Philadelphia on Friday should be interesting, to say the least. We're still not sold on Bynum being worth owning over the rest of the season, but if his knees can stay healthy, anything is possible. If you're desperate at center and have someone to cut, feel free to take a flier on him.

Andrew Bynum (knee) is expected to play roughly 15 minutes in his season debut on Tuesday, according to coach Frank Vogel This is consistent with expectations since Bynum will be assuming Ian Mahinmi's 15-minute role off the bench while Mahinmi recovers from a rib injury. Vogel wants Bynum to "just to fit in and play his game" as the Pacers look to snap their four-game losing skid, and there's no reason to approach him in standard fantasy leagues.

Andrew Bynum (knee) will make his Pacers' debut against the Celtics Tuesday. With Ian Mahinmi nursing a bruised rib, Bynum will take his spot in the rotation, according to coach Frank Vogel. "Once he's out there and he's playing he's a heck of a basketball player," Vogel said. Mahinmi is only averaging 15.6 minutes per game over the Pacers' last five contests, so while Bynum is worth a flier in deeper leagues, fantasy owners shouldn't be tripping over themselves to grab the big man off waivers.

Andrew Bynum said that returning to action vs. the 76ers on Friday is "definitely a possibility." Bynum said that he's "probably at 80 percent but good enough to go," and his status might be determined after he meets with coach Frank Vogel on Monday. There's no reason to pick him up in any leagues given his questionable health and the prospect of limited playing time and precautionary DNPs.

Andrew Bynum (knee) was seen taking part in post-practice drills on Thursday. Bynum sat out Wednesday's practice with knee soreness, but felt good enough on Thursday to take part in simulated 3-on-3 work after practice. Bynum is still working through knee and fitness issues and doesn't seem to be any closer to returning to game action, so fantasy owners can go on ignoring the talented big man for the 2013-14 season.

Andrew Bynum has been dealing with soreness while trying to get into shape. He's been practicing the past few days and there is still no target date for his debut with the Pacers. Bynum may be the least physically fit player in the league and he may secretly wish the NBA played halfcourt games instead of going full court. He can be ignored in all fantasy leagues.

Andrew Bynum will remain in Indianapolis to receive treatment on his knees during the All-Star break. Bynum is encouraged by the Pacers medical staff's approach to his rehab, but he's not expected to return until at least a week following the break. "[Team doctors] feel like they can, not fix, but sort of alleviate some of his issues while there's no inflammation," said coach Frank Vogel. The entire goal is to have Bynum ready for the playoffs, and he's very unlikely to have fantasy value in a limited role behind Roy Hibbert this season.
