Jefferson added 27 points (10-14 FG, 7-8 FT), 18 rebounds, three assists and two blocks during the Wolves' 121-116 win over Sioux Falls Tuesday.

The former Duke standout had a thunderous game Tuesday, recording his 32nd double-double overall and 17th double-double of 10-plus points and 15-plus rebounds. There has not been a more dominate and consistent post presence than Jefferson in the G League this season, as he is averaging over 17 points and 12 rebounds per game for the Wolves.

Jefferson registered 17 points (6-6 FG, 5-7 FT), 12 rebounds, two steals and two assist during Wednesday's 109-106 win over Reno.

This was Jefferson's 31st double-double of the season, as he leads the G League in the respective category by a wide margin. The 24-year-old forward from Duke is also the G League's leader in rebounds with 12.6. Not to mention that Jefferson also adds 17.8 points per game, he has been one of the most dominating players this year not just for the Iowa Wolves, but for the G League as well.

Jefferson amassed 16 points (7-10 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 2-4 FT), 10 rebounds and one assist during Sunday's 103-89 loss to host Fort Wayne.

The G-League's leading rebounder had yet another effective rebounding night while finishing with a double-double. Jefferson has provided 26 double-doubles this season as he has proven to be not only one of the dominant forces in the paint for the Wolves, but also for the G-League. Jefferson was recalled from Iowa of the G-League, the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports.

Iowa has a 10-day break between games, so Jefferson is with the T-Wolves to practice and is unlikely to play in the next two games before returning to Iowa.

Jefferson is averaging an astonishing 12.8 rebounds per game, which currently leads the league, along with 18.3 points. Every night, he is very capable of producing monstrous numbers as he has shown consistently throughout the season.

Jefferson spent time with the Timberwolves during the preseason before being waived during the last few rounds of roster cuts, so he does have some familiarity with the organization. Since then, he's been playing in the G-League with the Iowa Wolves, where's he's taken part in 22 games and averaged 18.0 points, 13.1 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 1.1 steals across 34.1 minutes. His strong production was enough to earn a two-way deal with the Timberwolves, though the nature of the contract will keep him limited to a max amount of days he can play at the big league level. For that reason, Jefferson should still get plenty of run in the G-League and likely won't be a fantasy contributor.

He was only on a a partially guaranteed deal and was always considered a long shot to make the final roster, however, making Saturday's release unsurprising.
