The Puerto Rican basketball league is in talks to sign Allen Iverson for their upcoming season.
Iverson's NBA career is almost certainly over, but he still needs money. The 11-time All-Star would serve as a draw in Puerto Rico, much like he did in Turkey last year. According to Yahoo's Adrian Wojnarowski, Iverson could make as much as $20,000 a month plus living expenses by playing in Puerto Rico.

There are a lot of rumors flying around the web and Twitter that the Celtics are thinking about signing free agent Allen Iverson.
A Boston Herald brief take suggested that Danny Ainge is an Iverson fan and that he could end up in Boston. That sounds like quite a longshot to us, but you never know. If he does end up in Boston (or anywhere else), he's going to come off the bench, even if he's still in NBA playing shape. In other words, owners in standard leagues would probably be wise to stay away unless he ends up in an ideal situation.

Allen Iverson has had a 2009 lawsuit filed against him dismissed in court.
The suit was over an alleged bar fight, and the judge dismissed the $2.5 million lawsuit after saying there was no evidence that illustrated Iverson was guilty of any wrong-doing. This should be the last we hear about this.

Allen Iverson's manager Gary Moore told Gary Washburn of the Boston Globe that Boston is "particularly attractive" to his client.
Moore cites Danny Ainge, the organization and Doc Rivers as reasons for Iverson wanting to join the fold. Moore also says that Iverson would "relish the opportunity to play in that organization." It's an intriguing idea as the Celtics are desperate to find a scoring source in the second unit, but it's hard to imagine his personality blending well with the veteran-led squad that Boston has built.

Allen Iverson is open to playing for any team in an effort to resume his NBA career.
"I'll play for anybody," Iverson told Yahoo! Sports. It's going to be fairly interesting to see if any team will kick his tires after a lengthy layoff, and there are obvious repercussions to consider for any club thinking about bringing him into the fold.

Updating a previous item, Allen Iverson will not play in the Team Philly vs. Team Melo game at the Palestra on Sunday.
Iverson's manager Gary Moore confirmed that Iverson won't participate. It's too bad, as his presence would've added a serious element of intrigue to the star-studded affair.

Allen Iverson is rumored to be playing in Sunday's exhibition game between Team Philly and Team Melo at the Palestra in Philadelphia
Iverson has his eyes set on making a return to the NBA this season, and this could be a major opportunity to prove that he's still got something to offer to a team. He needs to show something in an effort to salvage his stock around the league.

Allen Iverson is reportedly still working out and hoping to play in the NBA again.
He's also said to be talking to top trainers and is motivated to work hard. But whether that's enough to get a team to take a flier on him remains to be seen.
