The Nets are working out 21 players on Monday, including Adam Morrison, Al Thornton and Jermaine Taylor.
Some other interesting names include Julian Wright, Ben Hansbrough, David Harrison and Hilton Armstrong. It will be interesting to see if any of these guys show anything at the workout, but the Nets are just doing this as part of their offseason due diligence.

Adam Morrison has parted ways with the Turkish team Besiktas.
Yes, the Turkish club is once again in the news, but this time it has nothing to do with Deron Williams. Morrison signed a one-year deal with the team in January.

Adam Morrison is close to signed a deal with Besiktas of the Turkish league.
Morrison averaged 11.8 points per game for the Bobcats as a rookie in 2006-07, but crashed and burned from there. He appeared in just 37 games for the Lakers over two seasons before falling out of the league. Morrison, the No. 3 overall pick in the 2006 draft, is unlikely to get back in the NBA.

Adam Morrison averaged 15.5 ppg for Red Star Belgrade in Serbia and was let out of his contract in a "good faith" gesture.
Now he's reportedly heading back to the U.S. with renewed confidence and is hoping to land back in the NBA. He actually played well enough and with a competitive spark that will be intriguing to a lot of GMs. But it would be surprising to see him end up with a guaranteed contract, or fantasy value, for that matter.

Adam Morrison has been playing very well for Red Star Belgrade in Serbia, and hit 12-of-19 shots for 30 points in a recent loss to Union Olimpija.
Morrison is averaging 18.7 points after three games, which is good enough for No. 5 in the ABA thus far. He has no opt-out clause, but if things continue to go this well for him overseas, it's possible he could return to the NBA one day.

Adam Morrison has signed a one-year deal with Red Star Belgrade (Crvena Zvezda) to play in Serbia.
There is no opt-out clause, meaning he'll be in Serbia for a full season, but it's not like there were going to be a lot of professional opportunities available in the states anyway. He'll try to log some serious minutes in Serbia and fight his way back into the NBA.

Adam Morrison is reportedly close to a deal with the team Red Star (Crvena Zvezda) in Belgrade.
Morrison isn't considered a commodity in the NBA these days, so his decision to sign overseas was practical and probably had little to do with the lockout. After being drafted No. 3 overall in 2006, Morrison struggled to adjust to the NBA (37% FG for his career) and blew out his knee in October of 2007.

Adam Morrison has been working out at Gonzaga and could be ready to play in Europe this season.
And since none of the teams in the NBA seem to want him, this makes perfect sense. Kwame Brown catches a lot of heat for being a huge draft-day bust, but Morrison came in with star power and left with everyone questioning his ability to the play the game. A major knee injury/surgery didn't help things, and we might have seen the last of him in the NBA.
