Nesmith is coming off a solid effort against Charlotte on Sunday, so it would be unfortunate timing for him to miss the contest. If he can't suit up Wednesday, Jalen Smith and Oshae Brissett, among others, could be in line for additional minutes.

Nesmith closed Sunday's 116-111 victory over the Hornets with 15 points (5-7 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 5-7 FT), six rebounds, two assists and four steals over 31 minutes.

Nesmith was back to his best in the win, putting up meaningful contributions on both ends of the floor. Much like Andrew Nembhard, Nesmith has been a bit of a surprise packet thus far, sliding into the starting lineup as a result of injuries to other players, only to hold down that spot as a result of strong play. He is right on the cusp of being a 12-team commodity, something that will likely hold as we progress through the season.

Nesmith racked up 22 points (7-10 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 6-6 FT), two rebounds, one assist and one block in 28 minutes during Thursday's 135-126 victory over the Cavaliers.

EDGE Analysis

Nesmith got off to a slow start in this one after being held to only six points in the first half, but he responded with 16 second-half points on 5-for-7 from the field and 2-for-4 from deep while also notching a pair of boards, an assist and a block. It was nice to see the Vanderbilt product bounce back following a three-point showing Tuesday against the Hawks, which marked his worst scoring night of December so far. Nesmith has now averaged 12.6 points, 4.7 rebounds and 1.1 assists over his last 10 games.

Nesmith racked up 10 points (5-12 FG, 0-4 3Pt), five rebounds and two assists across 22 minutes during Monday's 113-93 loss to New Orleans.

EDGE Analysis

Nesmith was back in the starting lineup Monday, producing an underwhelming line in limited minutes. The Pacers were simply blown off the court in this one, so the majority of the starters were limited to no more than 25 minutes. Prior to his short injury absence, Nesmith had been playing some of the best basketball of his career, carving out a regular spot in the starting rotation. If you added him recently, he is worth holding for at least another game or two, just to see what transpires in the coming days.

The 23-year-old has been spotting in and out of the Pacers' starting five all season but he's in a groove right now, scoring at least 12 points in five of the last six games and averaging 13.7 points, 5.3 boards, 2.2 threes, 1.0 assists, 0.8 steals and 0.7 blocks in 25.5 minutes a night over that stretch. As long as he maintains this workload, Nesmith will have some deep-league fantasy value.
