The Cut List (Week 14) - Time to Let Go? rotoballer.com Sun 6/30/19 7:00 AM

We're halfway there in the baseball season, but hopefully your fantasy team is living on more than a prayer. (By Jove, that's terrible. Apologies.)Unless it's a points league, categories are starting to take more precedence at this point. Every hitter on this week's Cut List comes with a list of categories in which a need indicates greater or lesser use for the player to be on your team.Stats are through Friday, June 28. [...]

The Cut List (Week 13) - Time to Let Go? rotoballer.com Sun 6/23/19 7:00 AM

At this point in the season, nearly half over, you should pretty much know what you have on your fantasy team. (Unless you have Jose Ramirez.) Chances are, if you still have a certain frustrating player on your roster -- especially one you drafted -- you've had plenty of chances to remove them but have decided to stay the course each time. (For instance, Jose Ramirez.) A lot of cuts should be just the usual roster churn at this point, for example moving from one streamer SP to the next. (For ins[...]

Buy or Sell - Undervalued and Overvalued Players for Week 10 rotoballer.com Sat 6/1/19 10:00 AM

May is coming to an end, but luckily, buy and sell windows are still open on a certain set of players discussed in today's piece. There is nothing worse than seeing one of your guys underperform, but if that is the case, eight times out-of-ten it is most prudent to hold on until they at least get hot to then sell. Contrarily, do not buy high, unless it is in your best interest to win now and that player fills a particular need (saves/steals typically). If you missed out on the opportunity to make[...]

Zach Davies Rebounds Tuesday rotoballer.com Wed 5/29/19 1:35 AM

Milwaukee Brewers starting pitcher Zach Davies allowed five hits and two walks through six scoreless innings in Tuesday's loss to the Twins. After a six run meltdown in his previous start, Davies looked like his former self and lowered his ERA to 2.19. A lot of Davies' underlying stats show that his good starts are not sustainable, but while he is hot, it's worth starting him. It would be wise to sell high sooner rather than later though.

Zach Davies With Another Strong Performance Thursday rotoballer.com Thu 5/16/19 11:54 PM

Milwaukee Brewers starting pitcher Zach Davies allowed one earned run on four hits and a walk through six innings while striking out five in a win against the Phillies on Thursday. Davies has now posted three quality starts in a row with five strikeouts in each game and is 5-0 with a 1.54 ERA. The peripherals and underlying stats show that Davies is pitching way over his head so far and it's likely that reality will catch up to him and normalize his numbers. Davies is a great sell high candidat[...]
