Chang went 1-for-3 with an RBI, a stolen base and was hit by a pitch in Sunday's 6-1 win over the Mets.
EDGE Analysis
The steal was just the second of the season for Chang, who continues to operate as Boston's everyday shortstop. His window of opportunity will last another couple of weeks, as Trevor Story (elbow) has just begun a rehab assignment that may reach the upper limits of the 20-day maximum. Chang is batting .219 (7-for-32) since he returned from the injured list July 7.

Chang will sit Saturday against Oakland, Jen McCaffrey of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Chang returned from hamate surgery Friday to go 1-for-4 with a pair of RBI and a trio of strikeouts. He won't start back-to-back immediately after returning from the 60-day injured list, so it will be Enrique Hernandez who starts at shortstop Saturday.

Chang was activated from the 60-day injured list Friday, Mac Cerullo of the Boston Herald reports.
EDGE Analysis
Chang will make his return from hamate surgery after being sidelined since late April. He is expected to take over as the Red Sox' primary shortstop, at least until Trevor Story (elbow) is ready. Even with regular playing time, Chang isn't a very enticing fantasy option.

Chang (wrist) could be activated from the 60-day injured list as soon as Thursday, Pete Abraham of The Boston Globe reports.
EDGE Analysis
Chang has played four games since re-starting his rehab assignment, going 3-for-16 at the dish. The Red Sox have said he will be their shortstop when he returns, although that could only be for a few weeks until Trevor Story (elbow) is ready. Chang is coming back from hamate bone surgery.

Red Sox manager Alex Cora said Tuesday that Chang (wrist) is likely to be activated from the injured list later this week, Chris Cotillo of The Springfield Republican reports.
EDGE Analysis
Cora added that Chang will be the team's primary shortstop when he returns from late-April surgery to repair a fractured left hamate bone. The 27-year-old was slashing just .136/.174/.341 through 47 plate appearances prior to the injury and offers little fantasy appeal despite the opportunity for an elevated role.

Chang (wrist) could resume his minor-league rehab assignment later this week, Mac Cerullo of the Boston Herald reports.
EDGE Analysis
Chang was pulled out of action at Triple-A Worcester earlier this month due to renewed soreness in his surgically-repaired left wrist, but he's made significant progress in recent days. Sidelined since late April, he could be an option again on the Red Sox infield before the All-Star break.

Chang (wrist) was transferred to the 60-day injured list Thursday, Chris Cotillo of The Springfield Republican reports.
EDGE Analysis
He has not played since April 24, so the move to the 60-day IL doesn't necessarily affect his return date. However, Chang suffered a setback in his rehab a couple weeks ago and should be considered out indefinitely. Speedster David Hamilton was given his first call to the majors to provide infield depth.
