Moncada went 2-for-4 with a triple and a run scored in Tuesday's 9-1 loss to the Orioles.
EDGE Analysis
Moncada was moved up to leadoff for the game, just the second time this season he's hit atop the order this season, and scored the White Sox's lone run. It was his team-leading 20th run. Leury Garcia, who's been the team's primary leadoff hitter, was given a rest day Tuesday and is expected back in the lineup for Wednesday's series finale.

Moncada went 2-for-4 with a walk, a home run, two runs scored and two RBI in Friday's 7-3 win over the Tigers.
EDGE Analysis
The 23-year-old is on a tear, hitting .325 (13-for-40) over his last 10 games with four of his six homers on the season, as well as two steals, eight runs and seven RBI. Moncada's strikeout rate is down significantly so far in 2019, and that extra contact could be spurring him towards a long-awaited breakout campaign.

Moncada (head) will start at third base and bat second Thursday against the Tigers, Daryl Van Schouwen of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
Moncada was removed from Wednesday's series finale with the Royals shortly after being struck in the left side of the head by an errant throw in the fifth inning. His removal was merely precautionary, as Moncada passed all concussion tests and reported only minor dizziness and a headache after the hit to the helmet. Moncada told Scott Merkin of MLB.com he felt "much better" after waking up Thursday morning, so he'll be free to fill his usual everyday duties for the White Sox moving forward.

Moncada tested negative for a concussion Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
Moncada was hit on the left side of his head by a throw while attempting to steal (successfully) in the fifth inning Wednesday. The infielder was initially able to stay in the game before being removed prior to his next at-bat for what the White Sox are calling precautionary reasons. Moncada should be considered day-to-day; the White Sox figure to handle him with caution given the sensitive nature of head injuries.

Moncada went 2-for-4 with two solo home runs Tuesday against the Royals.
EDGE Analysis
Moncada took Jorge Lopez deep for both of his homers, increasing his total on the campaign to five. He's hit well in the early going and has recorded at least one hit in six of his last seven games, including three multi-hit efforts. Most encouragingly, his 24.3 percent strikeout rate is nearly 10 percent lower than his mark last season.

Moncada went 3-for-4 with a walk and a stolen base in Sunday's 5-2 win over the Yankees.
EDGE Analysis
The stolen base was the first of the season for Moncada, who had been an active base-stealer in the minors but is less interested in that aspect of his game in the majors. On balance, however, Moncada's productive bat in 2019 (.889 OPS) is a more welcome sight than his stolen base totals.

Moncada went 2-for-5 with a two-run homer and two runs in a 10-5 loss to the Rays on Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
The 23-year-old went a bit cold over the weekend, going 1-for-14 in the three games prior to Tuesday, but it's nice to see the youngster avoid a prolonged streak. He's had a strong start, hitting .326 with a .628 slugging percentage and 13 RBI this season. He also has three homers and 11 runs in 10 games.

Moncada went 0-for-4 with two strikeouts in Monday's 5-1 loss to the Rays.
EDGE Analysis
Moncada's in a bit of slide after a productive start. He's 1-for-14 with five strikeouts over the last three games. It's nothing to be too concerned with unless the slide grows longer and becomes a full-fledged slump. Moncada's taken a more aggressive approach this season, swinging earlier in the counts, and his swing percentage is up to 46 percent, five points higher than in 2018.
