Its never too early to start looking toward the fantasy baseball season, so Im here to carry on RotoBallers position-by-position rankings analysis series for points leaguesand head-to-head (H2H) formats with the keystone position. Traditionally a scarce position in fantasy, second base has truly risen over the past few years, and truthfully I'd be happy with grabbing anyone in the first four tiers (top 17) to start on my points teams. Every new beginning signifies an end elsewhere. This was the case for Toronto Blue Jays outfielder Teoscar Hernandez last season. The hard-hitting righty broke through in more ways than one in his first full year in the big leagues, finishing with a .239/.302/.468 line, and most importantly 22 home runs. The path to the plate wasnt clear-cut for Hernandez, though. An injury to Blue Jays' third baseman Josh Donaldson opened up a spot on the 25-man roster, but before that, expectations were tepid.[...]
