Nick Cafardo of the Boston Globe writes that it "looks like" Will Middlebrooks may be demoted to Triple-A Pawtucket. No official announcement from the team yet, but Cafardo hears that Brandon Snyder is expected to be called up in a corresponding roster move. Middlebrooks is batting just .192/.228/.389 with nine homers and a 60/9 K/BB ratio over 53 games this season and has lost playing time to Jose Iglesias in recent days.
