LeBlanc has an ERA of 9.00 in 10 innings pitched during the month of June.

EDGE Analysis

The southpaw was on pace to have one of his best seasons, posting an ERA of 2.56 before the bad month inflated that figure up to 4.10. While it would have been a nice feel-good story to see LeBlanc maintain his impressive season, his career ERA of 4.37 suggested it was only a matter of time until he would revert back to his norm, where fantasy players should now expect him to hover for the rest of the year.

LeBlanc is having the best season of his career, striking out 27 and walking only six in 31.2 innings out of the bullpen.

EDGE Analysis

After being traded last season to Pittsburgh from Seattle, the long-time starter has found a new home in the bullpen. Now in his first full season as a reliever, LeBlanc is posting career bests with a 1.01 WHIP and 2.56 ERA. The Buccos have taken advantage of the stamina he has built over his career, sending him out for more than one inning in 11 of his 20 appearances. He doesn't fit the stereotype of a left-handed reliever- his fastball is averaging a pedestrian 86.8 MPH- but he has excelled in getting guys out, and that's all that truly matters.

LeBlanc limited the Reds to one run on one hit in 5.1 relief innings Monday.

EDGE Analysis

LeBlanc saved the bullpen after replacing starter Tyler Glasnow in the second inning. He neither recorded a strikeout nor issued a walk, but gave his pitching staff a needed break. The lefty will continue to toil in a multi-inning role out of the pen.

LeBlanc struck out two of the three batters he faced Friday, throwing a scoreless inning against Toronto.

EDGE Analysis

He's set to come out of the bullpen as a multi-innings reliever, a capacity he served in September. The 32-year-old doesn't throw hard (86.9 mph average in 2016) but manufactures weak contact rates. LeBlanc isn't in line for late-inning work or counting stats, however, limiting his value.

LeBlanc agreed to a one-year deal with the Pirates on Friday, avoiding arbitration, Jon Heyman of FanRag Sports reports.

EDGE Analysis

There were talks that the big left-hander would be non-tendered by the Pirates, but the sides came to an agreement likely due to LeBlanc taking less money than he was projected to make in an arbitration case. LeBlanc was a solid bullpen arm for Pittsburgh last season after coming to the National League in September, although his numbers could see a downturn if his home run woes he had during his tenure with the Mariners (2.5 HR/9) follow him into the 2017 campaign.

LeBlanc earned his first save with three scoreless innings in Saturday's 10-4 victory over the Reds. He gave up a hit and struck out two.

EDGE Analysis

The veteran southpaw has taken to Pittsburgh well after being dealt from the Mariners on Sept. 13, now having hurled five scoreless frames of three-hit ball over two outings. LeBlanc has five whiffs over that span as well and looks poised to serve as a valuable innings-eating lefty arm out of the bullpen for the balance of the campaign.

LeBlanc was traded to the Pirates on Tuesday in exchange for a player to be named later, Greg Johns of MLB.com reports.

EDGE Analysis

LeBlanc was DFA'd last month before clearing waivers and landing at Triple-A Tacoma. The 32-year-old made 11 appearances (eight starts) for Seattle, amassing a 4.50 ERA and 1.22 WHIP across 50 innings. Rather than making a move to add Leblanc to the 40-man roster, Seattle will send him to Pittsburgh, where he figures to add depth to the bullpen over the final few weeks of the season.

LeBlanc is expected to rejoin the Mariners on Tuesday, Bob Dutton of The Tacoma News Tribune reports.

EDGE Analysis

LeBlanc cleared waivers after being designated for assignment last week, so the Mariners outrighted him to Triple-A Tacoma for the time being. The team will have to remove a player from the 40-man roster in order to add LeBlanc back onto it, and it's not yet clear who that player will be.

LeBlanc was designated for assignment by the Mariners on Thursday.

EDGE Analysis

The return of Taijuan Walker from Triple-A cost LeBlanc his spot in the Mariners' rotation, and the return of James Paxton from the disabled list will cost him his spot on the roster. LeBlanc held his own with the Mariners, posting a 4.50 ERA, 1.22 WHIP, and 41:9 K:BB over 11 appearances, so he could garner some interest on the waiver wire.

LeBlanc (3-0) surrendered three runs (three home runs) on six hits while walking three and striking out four over 5.1 innings in Friday's 7-6 win over the Brewers.

EDGE Analysis

With a three-run lead after five innings, it appeared LeBlanc was poised for his third win of the season, but the 32-year-old made things interesting when he gave up back-to-back homers to start the sixth. Though LeBlanc has yet to allow more than four earned runs in any of his eight starts this season, his 2.64 HR/9 and 6.02 FIP is concerning. The left-hander will get another home start on Wednesday against the Yankees.
