The Royals recalled Zuber from Triple-A Omaha on Sunday, Joel Goldberg of Bally Sports Kansas City reports.
EDGE Analysis
The righty returns to the big-league club only a day after being optioned. With a 6.00 ERA and 1.57 WHIP in 21 innings of relief this season, Zuber figures to pitch in nothing more than low-leverage situations in this latest stint with Kansas City.

Zuber was optioned to Triple-A Omaha on Saturday, Lynn Worthy of The Kansas City Star reports.
EDGE Analysis
Zuber entered each of the last two games and allowed two hits and no walks across two scoreless innings. However, he'll head to the minors after catcher Sebastian Rivero was recalled to serve as catching depth.

Zuber (0-3) allowed two earned runs on two hits while striking out two across one inning, taking the loss to the Mariners on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
Zuber entered the seventh inning in a tie game, but allowed a two-run home run to Kyle Seager. He has allowed five runs over his last 4.1 innings. The 26-year-old has a 6.63 ERA and 1.63 WHIP with 19 punchouts in 19 innings. He has failed to go more than four relief appearances in a row without giving up a run this season.

The Royals recalled Zuber from Triple-A Omaha on Tuesday, Joel Goldberg of Bally Sports Kansas City reports.
EDGE Analysis
Kansas City placed starter Brady Singer (shoulder) on the injured list in a corresponding move, but Zuber won't be called on to take Singer's spot in the rotation. He'll instead work out of the bullpen while he's up with the big club. The 26-year-old righty has already made 20 relief appearances for Kansas City this season, posting a 6.35 ERA and 1.71 WHIP.

Zuber was optioned to Triple-A Omaha on Sunday, Josh Vernier of 610 Sports reports.
EDGE Analysis
Zuber has been with the Royals since being recalled April 13. He struggled for the most part with the big club, posting a 6.35 ERA and 1.71 WHIP across 20 appearances (17 innings). He'll now head back to Omaha but figures to be a candidate to be called back up sometime later this season.

Zuber (0-2) allowed an unearned run on one hit and one walk in one-third of an inning in Wednesday's extra-inning loss to Tampa Bay.
EDGE Analysis
The right-hander couldn't escape the bottom of the 10th inning, as Manuel Margot hit a walkoff single. Zuber has taken the loss in two of his last three outings. The 25-year-old has a 5.52 ERA, 1.57 WHIP and 15:10 K:BB across 14.2 innings this season. While he's picked up three holds, Zuber hasn't received many high-leverage opportunities, and he did nothing Wednesday to indicate he should see more.

Zuber (0-1) allowed two runs on a hit and a walk with one strikeout in two-thirds of an inning in Friday's 7-5 loss to Detroit.
EDGE Analysis
The right-hander inherited two runners after Mike Minor allowed a pair of singles to begin the seventh inning. Zuber faced the minimum three batters -- he got some help from his defense, but his walk loaded the bases. Greg Holland then entered the contest and allowed a grand slam to Miguel Cabrera, with two of the runs charged to Zuber for the loss. The 25-year-old has posted a 6.08 ERA, 1.43 WHIP and 13:7 K:BB in 13.1 innings this year. With inconsistent efforts, he'll likely remain in a low-leverage role.

Zuber allowed two runs on a hit and a walk in two-thirds of an inning during Tuesday's 8-7 loss to Detroit. He also hit a batter.
EDGE Analysis
Zuber relieved starter Brady Singer, but the former wasn't very effective in a short appearance. Zuber was able to escape a jam in the fourth inning, but he put the first two batters aboard in the fifth, and Jake Brentz allowed both inherited runners to score. The 25-year-old Zuber now sports a 5.56 ERA, 1.32 WHIP and 10:5 K:BB across 11.1 innings. He's picked up two holds, but he's more likely to see low-leverage assignments since he's allowed runs in four of his last seven outings.
