Locklear went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in an extra-inning loss to the White Sox on Thursday.

The Mariners selected Locklear's contract from Triple-A Tacoma on Sunday. He'll start at first base and bat seventh in Seattle's series finale against Kansas City.
