The Arizona Diamondbacks called up pitcher Tyler Gilbert from Triple-A on Tuesday. Fellow pitcher Miguel Aguilar was optioned to Triple-A in a corresponding move. The 27-year-old Gilbert has never pitched in the majors, but he's put together a solid season at Triple-A this year.
