Bashlor was recalled from Triple-A Syracuse following Friday's game against the Cardinals, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Bashlor was with the big club for Friday's games as the 26th man, but he'll remain with the team after Hector Santiago was designated for assignment. Bashlor owns a 5.40 ERA with 12 punchouts over 11.2 innings this season in the big leagues.

Bashlor was optioned to Triple-A Syracuse on Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
Bashlor spent just shy of a month on the big-league roster but didn't particularly impress, posting a 5.40 ERA and 1.46 WHIP in 11.2 innings of work. Jeff McNeil (hamstring) returned from the injured list in a corresponding move.

Bashlor (0-3) allowed a run on two hits and a walk in one-third of an inning to take the loss in Saturday's 6-5 extra-innings loss to the Diamondbacks.
EDGE Analysis
Bashlor came on in the 11th inning and promptly imploded for his second loss in as many appearances. Bashlor owns a 5.56 ERA and 1.32 WHIP in 12 appearances this season, and has also blown three saves. He's allowed six runs in his last 1.2 innings.

Bashlor (0-2) gave up three runs on three hits in a third of an inning to blow the save and take the loss Monday as the Mets fell to the Dodgers.
EDGE Analysis
After J.D. Davis gave the Mets a 3-2 lead in the fifth inning, Bashlor replaced Jacob deGrom to begin the sixth and promptly made a mess of things, giving up a solo homer to Chris Taylor and then two singles before he got the hook and watched Daniel Zamora pour more gas on the fire. Bashlor's 12:5 K:BB through 11 innings this season isn't bad, but his 4.91 ERA and three blown saves in 11 appearances will likely keep him far away from high-leverage work.

Bashlor was called up by the Mets on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
Bashlor threw 32 innings in his debut season last year, recording a passable 4.22 ERA but a poor 5.44 FIP. The Mets brought in two fresh arms after Saturday's 18-inning contest, with Ryan O'Rourke and Chris Flexen going out the door and Bashlor and Peterson coming in.

Bashlor was optioned to Triple-A Syracuse on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
Bashlor spent the second half of last season in the majors and compiled a 4.22 ERA, 1.19 WHIP and 25:12 K:BB across 32 innings. The 25-year-old allowed six runs on 15 hits over 10.2 spring innings as he returns to Triple-A to begin the season.

Bashlor was called up from Triple-A Las Vegas on Sunday, Matt Ehalt of The Bergen Record reports.
EDGE Analysis
Ehalt mentioned Craig Kimbrel as a comparison for Bashlor, and while it's understood that he won't be quite that good, that provides an idea of what type of pitcher Bashlor could be, given his size (6-foot, 195 pounds), handedness (righty) and stuff. He posted a 2.63 ERA, 1.08 WHIP and 30:12 K:BB in 24 innings at Triple-A.

The Mets optioned Bashlor to their minor-league camp Wednesday, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
New York protected the 24-year-old from the Rule 5 draft this winter after he racked up 84 strikeouts and posted a 3.44 ERA and 1.31 WHIP in 49.2 innings between High-A St. Lucie and Double-A Binghamton. Surprisingly, Bashlor's best work came in the Eastern League, with the right-hander tossing 14.2 scoreless frames and notching a 23:4 K:BB. Bashlor's strong finish to the past season could result in only a brief stay at Binghamton if the Mets aren't ready to test him at Triple-A Las Vegas to begin the upcoming campaign.
