Prior to Saturday's loss, Wada picked up the win in three straight starts. Wada has been solid thus far in his major league career as he sports a 2.79 ERA and a 1.08 WHIP in nine starts.

Wada went 6.1 strong innings in Sunday's winning decision against Baltimore, allowing just one hit (a solo home run) and one walk. Wada shut down the Orioles, collecting eight strikeouts on his way to his fourth win of the season. He's now allowed two or fewer earned runs in six consecutive starts, and he'll take a 2.56 ERA, 1.05 WHIP, and 41:11 K:BB ratio (in 45.2 innings) into Saturday's road start in St. Louis.
