Manager Dave Martinez said he expects Turner (finger) to be in the lineup by "the beginning or middle of the week," Mark Zuckerman of MASNSports.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Turner hasn't seen the field since suffering the jammed finger on his left hand Wednesday, but the Nationals are confident a trip to the injured list isn't necessary. Alcides Escobar should continue to see time at shortstop until Turner is cleared to rejoin the lineup. The Nationals head to San Diego on Monday to begin a four-game series.

Turner went 4-for-4 with two stolen bases and four runs scored while hitting for the cycle during Wednesday's 15-6 win over the Rays. Per Maria Torres of The Athletic, Turner exited in the bottom of the seventh inning because of a jammed left middle finger.
EDGE Analysis
Turner's sixth-inning triple put him in a very exclusive group, as he became just the fourth player in the modern era to hit for three cycles during a career. It wasn't all great news for Turner, however, as manager Davey Martinez said that Turner jammed his left middle finger "pretty good." The short stop is considered day-to-day for the time being after concluding a sensational month of June with 39 hits, 24 runs and six stolen bases.
