Gonsolin (8-4) allowed a run on three hits and struck out six without walking a batter over six innings to earn the win Saturday over the Rockies.
EDGE Analysis
Gonsolin earned his third win in a row, rebounding from allowing six runs over six innings his last start. His lone mistake Saturday was an Ezequiel Tovar solo home run on the first pitch of the game. While Gonsolin has either been sharp or shaky with little in between, it's averaged out to a pedestrian 4.24 ERA, 1.14 WHIP and 80:36 K:BB through 99.2 innings over 19 starts this season. He's projected to make his next start at home versus the Marlins.

Gonsolin (7-4) earned the win Monday, allowing six runs on nine hits and one walk over six innings against San Diego. He struck out three.
EDGE Analysis
The Padres inflicted the majority of their damage against Gonsolin in the third inning, tallying five runs on four hits including a two-run bomb by Luis Campusano. Despite the rough inning, Gonsolin managed to stay in the game long enough to receive the run support needed to earn a victory. In five starts since the All-Star break, the 29-year-old right-hander has now posted a 5.19 ERA, 1.35 WHIP and 20:10 K:BB across 26 innings. He is projected for a home start against the Rockies over the weekend.

Gonsolin (6-4) allowed a run on five hits and two walks while striking out three over five innings to earn the win Wednesday over the Athletics.
EDGE Analysis
While it was a soft matchup, it was still a positive to see Gonsolin end a three-start winless stretch. His lone mistake was a Shea Langeliers solo home run in the third inning -- that was the sixth homer Gonsolin has allowed over his last five starts. The right-hander now has a 4.11 ERA, 1.15 WHIP and 71:35 K:BB through 87.2 innings over 17 starts. He's projected for a road start in San Diego early next week.

Gonsolin (5-4) took the loss Wednesday as the Dodgers fell 8-1 to the Blue Jays, giving up five runs on seven hits and three walks over five innings. He struck out five.
EDGE Analysis
The right-hander continues to wilt in the summer heat. Gonsolin has been tagged for at least four runs in six of his last seven starts, stumbling to a 7,25 ERA over that stretch despite a superficially respectable 1.39 WHIP. The 29-year-old's 19.7 percent strikeout rate and 9.7 percent swinging strike rate on the season are career lows, as is his 92.6 mph average on his fastball, and Gonsolin could be tough to deploy even as a streaming option in the second half if he can't regain some of those lost whiffs. He's next set to take the mound at home next week against the A's.

Gonsolin yielded four runs on two hits and three walks over five innings in Friday's win over Texas. He struck out six and did not factor in the decision.
EDGE Analysis
Gonsolin allowed a two-run homer in the first inning and later gave up two more runs in the fourth. He's been tagged with at least four runs in five of his last six outings, spiking his ERA from 1.93 to 3.94 during that span. The six-strikeout total was his highest since June 18 but he's been taken deep four times in his last three starts. Gonsolin's next outing is currently lined up to be at home against Toronto next week.

Gonsolin allowed two hits and one run in a no-decision against the Mets on Saturday. He walked one batter and struck out three.
EDGE Analysis
Gonsolin gave up a deep solo blast to Brandon Nimmo in the fourth inning but otherwise kept the Mets off the scoreboard. It was curious, then, that he was pulled after the fifth frame having thrown just 54 pitches, but manager Dave Roberts clarified after the contest that the quick hook wasn't due to an injury. "You could see Tony kind of battling with the humidity, the feel of the baseball. When you're looking down at a fresh 'pen, for me it was a no-brainer on shortening him right there as far as pitch count," Roberts stated, per Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic. Ardaya adds that Gonsolin himself stated that he "couldn't get a good grip on the ball," so there doesn't seem to be any concern about the right-hander's health. Gonsolin should be good to go without restrictions for his next outing, which is lined up to be a tough matchup against the Rangers in Texas.

Gonsolin improved to 5-3 with a victory over the Angels on Friday during which he allowed four runs on seven hits and one walk over 6.2 innings. He struck out five batters.
EDGE Analysis
Gonsolin was staked to a 4-0 lead through three innings before giving up a Mickey Moniak three-run homer in the fourth. The right-hander bounced back with a scoreless fifth and sixth, then surrendered a solo shot to Mike Moustakas in the seventh. Gonsolin finished having yielded exactly four runs for his third straight start, but this was the best outing of the bunch as he went a season-high 6.2 frames on an efficient 77 pitches (54 strikes). The 29-year-old heads into the All-Star break with a 3.86 ERA, 1.12 WHIP and 54:26 K:BB over 67.2 innings on the campaign.

Gonsolin (4-3) took the loss Sunday against the Royals, allowing four runs on six hits and three walks while striking out three over 3.2 innings.
EDGE Analysis
Gonsolin was roughed up Sunday for a third consecutive start by one of the worst offenses in baseball. He tossed scoreless frames in the first and third but unraveled in the fourth after allowing four of the first five batters he faced to reach, leading to three runs in the inning for the Royals. He was unable to complete the frame and was yanked at 81 pitches. Gonsolin has issued multiple walks in seven of his last eight starts and has given up 15 runs over his last 14.1 innings after owning a sparkling 1.93 ERA through June 13. The 29-year-old now sports a 3.69 ERA, 1.11 WHIP and 49:25 K:BB in 61 innings and lines up to face the Angels this week.

Gonsolin yielded four runs on five hits and a walk over five innings in Sunday's loss to Houston. He struck out three and did not factor in the decision.
EDGE Analysis
All the damage against Gonsolin came on a pair of two-run shots. He turned in four straight starts without allowing a home run but still posted a lackluster 4.37 ERA during that span. After registering a 1.13 ERA through five starts, Gonsolin's season ERA has spiked to 3.30 across 57.1 innings. His next start is lined up to be in Kansas City.

Gonsolin (4-2) yielded seven runs on six hits and three walks over 5.2 innings Sunday, striking out seven and taking a loss against the Giants.
EDGE Analysis
Gonsolin looked strong through three perfect frames before things began to unravel. While it was his first time allowing more than three runs in an outing this year, he also racked up a season-high seven punchouts. Gonsolin had registered a 1.93 ERA while going 4-0 over his previous six starts before Sunday. Despite the poor outing, Gonsolin is sporting a 2.92 ERA with a 43:21 K:BB across 10 starts. His next start is lined up to be at home against the Astros.
