Red Sox optioned LHP Tommy Hottovy to Triple-A Pawtucket. Hottovy made eight appearances in his three-plus weeks with the Red Sox, allowing four hits and three earned runs in four total innings. The 29-year-old southpaw could be recalled later this season if the Red Sox have a need for another lefty.
