Koehler (2-2) allowed three runs (two earned) on three hits over five innings in Tuesday's win over the Dodgers.
EDGE Analysis
Koehler earned a rare win against Clayton Kershaw, bolstered by a three-run Giancarlo Stanton home run in the sixth inning before Koehler was replaced. He threw two wild pitches and was shaky all day, as he walked more batters (four) than he struck out (three). Koehler has just 15 strikeouts against 11 walks in 20 innings thus far this season, and his 4.50 ERA is similarly mediocre.

Koehler (1-2) picked up his first win of the season Thursday against the Nationals. He threw five innings, allowing just one run, two hits and one walk while striking out five.
EDGE Analysis
Koehler scooped up the win by surprisingly outperforming Max Scherzer. The right-hander is looking to build off last season's career-best 11 wins, and Thursday's game should provide the 29-year-old with a boost of confidence. However, in terms of fantasy value, there are many better options than Koehler in most formats.

Koehler (0-2) allowed six runs, five of which were earned, on nine hits and two walks while striking out one to take the loss Saturday against the Braves.
EDGE Analysis
Koehler was touched up for runs in the second, third and fourth innings and put the Marlins offense in a hole they could never climb out of. After posting a quality start in his first outing at Washington, he followed that up with this disappointing effort against a weak offense in his home park. He'll make his next start Thursday against the Nationals.

Koehler (0-1) took the loss Sunday, allowing two runs on eight hits and four walks over 6.1 innings while striking out six.
EDGE Analysis
His overall pitching line wasn't too bad, especially considering his previous struggles against some of the Nats' big bats, but the Marlins couldn't produce enough offense to get Koehler off the hook for the loss. He should have a much better matchup in his next start, when Miami hosts Atlanta on Saturday.

Koehler was in line to start Saturday's matchup with the Nationals, but the game has been rained out, Craig Davis of the Sun Sentinel reports.
EDGE Analysis
The game has been postponed and a makeup date is yet to be announced. It's possible the Marlins could simply push Koehler back to start Sunday's game, but the team could also opt to skip his turn and go with Jarred Cosart on Sunday.

Koehler will open the season as the Marlins' No. 4 starter, MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
A comebacker to the elbow in a minor league game earlier in the week left Koehler with a bruise but did not affect his pitching schedule in any way. Koehler, who allowed six earned runs with a 9:5 K:BB in 13.1 innings with the big club this spring, is lined up to make his regular-season debut April 9 at Washington.

Koehler was hit below the elbow by a comebacker Monday and is considered day-to-day, Joe Frisaro of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Many were initially worried that the ball had struck his pitching hand, but it appears that the right-hander has dodged that bullet. The timetable for his return is unclear, but given that it missed his hand and elbow, he'll likely only need to rest a few days to let the swelling go down, allowing him to return to action fairly soon.

Koehler tossed three shutout innings Tuesday against the Yankees, allowing three hits and one walk with one strikeout.
EDGE Analysis
Koehler enters spring training with an inside track to a rotation spot despite a crowded field of competitors vying for an Opening Day roster position. He posted a passable 4.08 ERA last season to go along with a 1.37 WHIP but his low strikeouts totals make Koehler little more than an innings eater for fantasy purposes.

Koehler agreed to a one-year deal with the Marlins on Friday, avoiding arbitration, MLB.com's Joe Frisaro reports.
EDGE Analysis
The 29-year-old righty wouldn't be in the mix for a rotation spot on most teams, but the Marlins aren't most teams. His 17.1% K-rate from last year is abysmal, and odds are he will once again sport an ERA north of 4.00. Still, he should be expected to eat innings once again at the back of Miami's rotation.

Koehler escaped with a no-decision in Game 1 of Saturday's double-header, allowing five runs (four earned) on six hits and four walks over five innings while striking out five.
EDGE Analysis
He gave up at least four runs in each of his last three starts, but Koehler's 4.15 ERA on the season as a starter will keep him in consideration for a spot at the back of the Marlins rotation in 2016.
