Anderson has been suspended for one game because of language used during the benches-clearing incident in Wednesday's game against the Royals, Jeff Passan of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
It seems likely that Anderson will appeal this suspension, but that has not yet been reported. The White Sox begin a three-game series in Detroit this weekend, and Anderson has not yet been ruled out. If and when he serves a one-game suspension, Jose Rondon would likely start at shortstop.

Anderson will be suspended by MLB for his role in Wednesday's benches-clearing altercation, Stadium reports.
EDGE Analysis
This has not been confirmed by MLB or any of the White Sox's beat writers. It also flies in the face of common sense, as Anderson was essentially the victim in Wednesday's altercation. If he does indeed get handed a suspension, he would almost assuredly appeal the punishment, so he may not sit out any games this weekend.

Anderson went 1-for-2 with a two-run home run before being ejected from Wednesday's game against the Royals.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson hit a 418-foot blast during the fourth inning and was fairly demonstrative as he made his way toward first base, and he was plunked by Brad Keller in his next at-bat. Both players were then ejected after the benches cleared, though Anderson didn't really seem to do much to warrant the early exit. The 25-year-old is now slashing .424/.443/.678 with four home runs and six stolen bases.

Anderson went 3-for-4 with a double and two runs scored in Monday's 5-4 win over the Royals.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson, who has hit safely in 12 of 13 games, raised his average to an MLB-high .453 with his three knocks Monday. He's still the free-swinger he's always been, but Anderson is making more contact in 2019.

Anderson went 1-for-4 with a grand slam in Sunday's win over the Yankees.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson's lone hit in the series finale was a big one, as he left the yard in the fourth inning with the bases loaded to propel the White Sox to a 5-2 victory. The 25-year-old shortstop's hot start at the dish continues, and he's now batting .429 with three home runs, 10 RBI and five stolen bases over 13 games in 2019.

Anderson went 2-for-4 with a stolen base in Wednesday's 9-1 loss to the Rays.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson continued to hit, extending his hitting streak to nine games while also stealing a bag for the third straight game. He's stolen four and is well on his way to cracking the 20-steal threshold for a second straight season.

Anderson went 2-for-4 with an RBI and a stolen base in Tuesday's 10-5 loss to the Rays.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson extended his hitting streak to eight games and is batting .515 (17-for-33) out of the gate. He was raised in the order to fifth for Tuesday's game and didn't miss a beat.

Anderson will start at shortstop and hit fifth Tuesday against the Rays, Paul Sullivan of the Chicago Tribune reports.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson batted leadoff and hit second on two occasions over the weekend during Chicago's four-game series with Seattle, but all of those assignments came against left-handed pitchers. He's hit either seventh or eighth in his other starts versus righties this season, but Anderson's hot bat will at least temporarily allow him to unseat Eloy Jimenez as the club's No. 5 batter. Anderson enters the contest with an enormous 1.326 OPS for the campaign, though his .565 BABIP and 3.3 BB% suggest that figure will soon fall precipitously.

Anderson went 3-for-4 with a home run, three RBI, a walk and four runs scored Friday against Seattle.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson smoked a two-run single to center in the second inning and hit his first homer of the season, a solo blast, to left field in the eighth. He's now 7-for-16 with two extra-base hits, four RBI and a stolen bag through five games this year.

Anderson (personal) was reinstated from the paternity list Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
As expected, Anderson is back with the White Sox ahead of Thursday's series opener against the Mariners after his wife gave birth to the couple's second child Monday. Look for him to assume his normal spot in the lineup. Through three games, Anderson is 4-for-12 with a double and a stolen base.
