Anderson (knee) will begin a rehab assignment with Triple-A Charlotte on Friday, James Fegan of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson got through another workout Thursday without any problems, clearing the way for the start of his rehab assignment. White Sox manager Pedro Grifol is on record as saying Anderson likely needs 10-15 rehab at-bats, so the shortstop could stay with Charlotte through the weekend before returning Tuesday versus the Twins if all goes well.

Anderson (knee) will begin a rehab assignment with Triple-A Charlotte this weekend, Daryl Van Schouwen of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
After landing on the 10-day injured list April 11, Anderson now appears to be ready to return to game action. If all goes well in Charlotte, the veteran shortstop could be activated ahead of Chicago's series against Minnesota on Tuesday. Anderson was slashing .298/.327/.404 before spraining his left knee.

White Sox manager Pedro Grifol said Tuesday that Anderson (knee) will likely need 10-to-15 at-bats during his eventual minor-league rehab stint, James Fegan of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson is still with the White Sox in Toronto, so any rehab assignment wouldn't begin until Wednesday at the earliest. The shortstop should be able to accumulate those necessary at-bats in 3-to-5 games, so he'll likely be in store for a short rehab assignment, whenever it begins. Anderson looks to be tracking toward a return to the White Sox lineup in the early part of May.

Manager Pedro Grifol said Anderson (knee) fielded grounders and ran a handful of sprints Saturday, and the shortstop could soon begin minor-league rehab assignment, Scott Merkin of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
The White Sox haven't set a date for Anderson to start the rehab assignment, though it sounds as though he could report to an affiliate sometime this week. The 29-year-old has been sidelined by a left knee sprain since April 10, though he should be able to rejoin the big club after making only couple appearances in the minors.

Anderson (knee) recently began doing some jogging, James Fegan of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
The shortstop is reportedly tracking toward a return closer to the early side of his projected 2-4 week recovery timetable, which points to him having a good shot to be activated before the end of the month. Anderson is working his way back from a left knee sprain and it's not clear whether he'll need a rehab assignment before returning.

Anderson (knee) is tracking toward a return closer to the early side of his projected 2-4 week recovery timeline, James Fegan of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson will be away from the White Sox for a couple days to tend to a personal matter, but his progress from a sprained left knee appears to be coming along well. April 27 is the beginning of a homestand for the White Sox and would be just after the two-week mark of Anderson's absence, so perhaps that's a date for the shortstop to shoot for.

Anderson was placed on the injured list by the White Sox on Tuesday with a sprained left knee, James Fegan of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
The injury -- which occurred during Monday's win over the Twins -- is expected to keep Anderson on the shelf for 2-4 weeks. Elvis Andrus should slide over to handle shortstop while Anderson is out, with Romy Gonzalez, Hanser Alberto and Lenyn Sosa getting starts at second base.

Anderson is currently receiving treatment on his knee, Daryl Van Schouwen of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson was removed from Monday's victory over the Twins with left knee soreness in the sixth inning. The injury occurred when he made contact with a baserunner while attempting to bring in a poor throw on a rundown play. The shortstop is day-to-day for now, but there's a decent chance he'll sit Tuesday's game against Minnesota as a precaution at the very least.

Anderson was removed from Monday's game against the Twins due to left knee soreness in the sixth inning after suffering the injury while playing the field in the bottom of the fourth, Daryl Van Schouwen of the Chicago Sun-Times reports. He went 0-for-3 with a strikeout prior to his departure.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson sustained the knee injury when he was clipped by a baserunner while he attempted to corral an errant throw during a rundown play. Though he was able to get up on his own, walk off the injury and stay in the game for the final out of the fourth and the entire fifth inning, Anderson remained on the bench when the White Sox returned to the field for the bottom of the sixth. Expect the White Sox to provide an update on Anderson's condition later Monday once he's further evaluated, but for now, he can be viewed as day-to-day heading into Tuesday's contest.

Anderson went 4-for-5 with two doubles, two stolen bases and four runs scored Friday against the Pirates.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson snapped out of a short cold stretch, as he tallied his fourth multi-hit game of the season and first since April 1. He also remained aggressive on the basepaths, and his pair of stolen bases Friday brought his total on the campaign to four. Overall, Anderson has also chipped in seven runs scored and four extra-base hits (all doubles) across 36 plate appearances.
