Tim Anderson Off, Ryan Goins Batting Second rotoballer.com Thu 8/29/19 12:18 PM
Chicago White Sox infielder Ryan Goins is playing shortstop and batting second on Thursday as shortstop Tim Anderson sits. It appears to be a day off for Anderson. Matt Skole also gets his first start since Friday, batting seventh. Chicago faces the Minnesota Twins and starting pitcher Jose Berrios. Goins has the platoon advantage and batting second is usable as a cheap DFS option in order to spend elsewhere in the lineup for the early slate. Pass on Skole in his lineup spot against Berrios.

Chicago White Sox shortstop Tim Anderson is not in the starting lineup on Thursday. With Anderson taking the day off, Ryan Goins gets the start at the 6 and will hit second against Twins starter Jose Berrios. Goins is hitting .274/.356/.393 but has just two home runs and 10 RBI in his 117 at-bats in 2019. He's sitting in a nice lineup spot for daily production, but Goins remains a low-upside DFS option for the White Sox.
